Well I was not going to tell this one as I feel so embarrassed but my Dear Friend Brendalee mentioned needle and thread in my Discussion about my Creation of that lovely Bottle Well needle and thread are such fun at times Last week I had to sew a Button on a Duvett Cover now I hate sewing I always have but this Button had to bo as I kept catching my Foot in the stupid thing So here I sit sewing away quite happily (well not quite) anyway the Button is on, so I pull of the thread and that go to pick up the Duvet Cover to fold and well ........ it is stuck to me, hmmmmm wonder how that happened, well I know what happened I had only sewn my trousers to the Duvet Cover as well, now as the Duvet Cover did not suit me as a Skirt I had to remove it. The problem I had I could not remember where I had put the small Scissors, so I had to walk round the Flat with this cover attached to me looking for them, to make things worse Gissi likes Duvet Covers and he is following me round digging on the Cover obviously thinking I am playing a game with him. I did not find him funny as he is digging because as he is doing that my Trousers are pulling and it is a good job I had a belt on or I would have lost them Well I found the Scissor and because little Fellow is still digging I ended up with a hole in my trousers, no I was not going to sew them and did not lol

Some things you just know will happen, don't you?! lol I had to fix my wifes glasses with superglue the other day and wouldn't you just guarantee that I'd glue myself to them! Luckily it wasn't a big dollop so I only ended up with a little sore spot where I pulled them off, but no matter how careful I am with that stuff there's ALWAYS a bit that goes astray! lol Anyway, It may not have worked as a skirt, but I bet you could've pulled it off as a toga!

Actually I've superglued my skin on purpose before. If you cut yourself you can actually hold the skin together and put superglue over the top. It only really works if the cut is 'clean' from something sharp. It holds better than a sticky-plaster but you need to be really carefl with it.

Yep, its my fault.lol. Its kind of hard to say I am sorry when I am laughing so much. I admit, I have done the same thing before but without a dog wanting to play with my new outfit.lol. At least you didn't sew it to your skin. maybe you can buy some doll clothes for your little bottle. I was going to suggest gluing the fabric to the bottle until I read the first reply.lol.

Hello Gabs, Awwwe what a goof up. I am sure you feel embrassed. LOL. I didn't knew you hate sewing that is why you goofed up when sewing button on your duvet cover and sewed up you trouser as well. No wonder with Gissi digging into it there was hole in your trousers. Ha ha. I am not surprised you don't want to sew the hole in your trosuers after this goof up. LOL. I too am not good at sewing myself. he he. Have a nice day.:)

Oh Gabs - you make me laugh! I am also the same with anything involved with sewing - I hate it!!! I often throw stuff away because I literally cannot be bothered with sewing - even something as simple as a button! And can I tell you a secret...............? I've sewn something to my clothes before now! LOL!

You are such a spoilsport! Gissi is a superstar and he deserves his very own little cam corder to make his very own movies for his site! How could you possibly deprive him? More to the point, I would have loved to see that! You saw my cup hovering in mid air split second before smashing routine - why couldn't I see your "how to sew a button on" routine? hugs (have to say that folks, she gets mad real easy!)

You should have sewn the Duvet Cover to the back of your trousers. Then when you fall down, you would have a little cushioning and you would not get hurt. LOL I love to sew. I sew by hand and by machine. I like to make quilts. At least, you and Gissi did not step on a needle while barefoot. I have done that. I had to have my hubby pull the needle out of my foot. Then my foot was sore for a week. We need to find you a *safe* hobby that does not involve needles, thread, scissors or glue. LOL You should try to sew the trousers but be very careful and go slow. Then you should have better results.

gabs I am convinced your flat is like a 3 ring circus 24/7 I am sorry to laugh at your misfortune but you described this so well I just can't help myself - I can see you dragging that duvet around with Gissi attaching as you struggle to walk. Yep save the trouser repair for another day :)

Gabs, don't feel bad! I have done that so many times. I have sewn a shirt I was trying to repair the button on to my pants. Now that was a sight. I was sewing a pillow and it somehow got attached to my shirt. Needless to say I am not a good hand stitcher. My mother is the sewing lady in our house! LOL

You've done it again--got me out of a terrible snit! I just finished posting about getting woken up by the neighbour's roofer at an unholy hour and getting fighting mad again and I chanced on your post. I was howling at how funny you must have looked running around with a duvet as an appendage! And with the Boy digging and rooting, playing. So funny! Thanks for cooling my temper down, Angel Girl. You probably saved me from another stroke. You really do come up with some real doozies! You and Gissi could have your own sitcom! You'll be famous!!! And us Gissi Groupies will form your loyal fan base! hahahaha!!! :-}}
