You and your fiancee are moving...

into a new home and while doing some packing you have come across some pics and letters of some old girlfriends. You approach him about this, because you would like for him to get rid of them,but he refuses.Would the fact that he has these old pics/letters bother you? What would you say to him? Please comment~

~whistling innocently~ approach him to ask to get rid of them?? ummm nope wouldnt a been what i woulda done..they would have just been gone all by themselves :) past is past..you are the future ..and frankly i dont think you should have to say anything to him he should want to get rid of them himself ...good luck hun..i hope he gets rid of them

I may be a bit uncomfortable, but just because they have the items does not really mean anything. Some people are just really sentimental and enjoy keeping items like that around, because really, if you think about it, relationships are really big parts in our lives, especially those relationships that lasted a long time. I may ask them to get rid of them, and if they refuse I'd ask them why. If it seems they're holding onto them for all the wrong reasons, I'd really encourage them to dump them and move on. Everyone has to do it sometimes.

This is totally hypothetical, and would not happen to us.
1) We have laid all of our cards on the table explaining about our past relationships, and explaining any keepsakes we may have, and why we have them.
2) Anything we decide to keep would not be hidden, so it would not be accidentally discovered.

well my fiancee n i kind of did the same thing,,we don't anything from each other n we complete 100% confidence on each other,we tell each other everything,we have no secrets 4 each other. he's my baby the love of my life n i will love t'll the day i stop breathing. we're almost 20 yrs together.

well,my biggest accomplish is getting engaged 2 my boyfriend of almost 20 yrs,we got engaged on feb 17 2007 n we're getting married next yr on july 5th,it's going 2 b kind of a b'day gift 4 myself cause my b'day is july 4th,,anyway my fiance had some pics of some old girlfriends but i made him throw them out n he did without any arguments,,so that proved 2 me that he realy love me n only me.
