Saturday marked what was billed as the luckiest day of the year since it was 07-07-2007 or 777. I am curious to know what you did yesterday and did you have a LUCKY DAY?
Did you take your chances at a casino playing blackjack, roullette, poker or the slots? Did you go to the horse races? Or did you just stay at home?I'm curious to know how many of you had really lucky days! Tell us about it!!My day wasn't exactly lucky. We were shopping for a California King Size mattress and none of the stores had one in stock. They all said 1-2 weeks delivery because it is a special order. Oh well...I guess we will just have to wait on that. So for me, it wasn't really that lucky!

07-07 is my ex-husbands birthday. I don't consider it lucky.
Ok joking, I am not superstitious so I didn't even think of it when it hit. Just like last year on 06-06-06, I didn't think of that either. I reckon I am just an old fuddy-tuddy, LOL.

I did not feel well but I went shopping with some friends anyway. I bought two tank tops for 9.99 each and that was all.
We went to eat dinner and came home. Today I really do not feel well. I have dizzy spells and boy or boy am I very dizzy today.

I was working on that day. Two days ago now. While I had one group of clients shopping, another house had a toilet valve malfunction, and we could not get ahold of anyone who would help us out. It took two hours or more to find out how to get maintenance to get us a shop vac. I know for a fact we cleaned up at least ten gallons of water from the tile floors and the carpet. There was so much water it went under the walls to the next duplex. Not really lucky for me either. I guess it was lucky in that the clients that had the problem were high functioning, and knew which valve to turn off.

Well on this day we went to a wedding. The Lucky thing was that we had to drive almost 2 hours to get there, in the hot hot car, and sit in the way back of the church. We were in the middle of nowhere and had a few hours to waste before the reception. So we had to drive again for awhile to find the nearest mall. Then we had to drive back and we got there early and they didn't have assigned seating... so we sat at what we thought was a good table. However everyone else assumed we were on the "family" side and instantly went to the far away tables... so we sat with the 2 ceremony musicians while all the young people were on the other side of the room! Well we still had fun, but boy was that a "lucky" day!
Ok, here's the actual lucky part :) While at the mall, we got the best frozen cappucinos ever! I loved it sooooo much that it totally made my mood great for the whole reception even though we didn't know anyone there.
