Topics on MYLOT

The topics are so ridiculous. I have seen the hot topics of today. People are so interested in responding, obviously quantity is the more important. There are so many poignant topics that have no responses, but todays hot topics are like "what do you wear" "how many emails do you get". Who really give a rats a**???!!! Mylot won't last long if this is how it's going to be going forward.

I have told people before, I never even look at the hot topics or the top discussions either. I do not know where I am on the user page, either. I do really enjoy it when people give me best responses, though. I have not even checked them as much anymore. I need to start a discussion or two, because mine are all resolved at this time. I am afraid that the only one on my mind will probably not be one that is interesting to you either, but it comes to mind to post, so I will. I like meaningful discussions, myself. I am happy if I get around twenty responses. I am not responding to too many myself. Have a nice evening. I hope you get to go home from work soon.

Hi bonbon664,
I agree some of the topic are a joke. I really think we all should do something to stop the B.S. discussions. It seems that alot of the newbies in here are trying to make money and don't care too much for the quality of the discussions. I really don't care if someone "smells their underwear", and how many ways can you ask "what's your favorite ice cream."

I thought Mylot HQ were getting rid of these, when I first came to Mylot these subjects and discussions were OTT and we were flooded with them, then they were quickly deleted and basically if you posted these types of discussions you would be wasting your time. Trouble is the money allowance is going down and the membership is going up. I know where you are coming from, to be honest I only respond to my notifications from friends on Mylot now. As I don't have the time or inclination to be on here for endless hours now.

I feel ya.I see one where somebody was asking are you a male or female?What was the sole purpose of that?Seriously i mean come on.I responded to it and added to it and i told the person in a nice way that discussions like thease get deleted.

I always pick topics from the New Discussions list. And I never respond to the one line topics, like, "What's Your Favorite Color?" or "What's your favorite soft drink?"
I like to respond to topics that I can actually apply my opinions and thoughts, topics where I can give some advice, or relay my experiences.
