I spend my money on my neccesities such as food, transportation, utilities and miscellaneous. Eventhough I spend more on that I still manage to have a savings on my own so that I have something when during emergencies. How about you?

I has learnt to save money since I was a child especially now. My hubby ever got a bad financial problem that made him desperate and that made us apart for quite a long time. I dont that to happen again especially now we already have a baby. I also save for my baby too, just in case if we will need it for his educational fee.

I having being spending more than what I save over the last several years. My emergency fund is a joke. I have used my credit card as my emergency fund, and I am paying dearly. I am working my butt off to increase my emergency account. I would suggest to anyone have a emergency fund, it makes life a whole lot easier.

To be honest, I get real anxious about it; I know what I have to do, but I get like, well I would like something of my own, and then my stuff gets out of whack. Just tonight, my mother told me, Girl, you need to know where your money is going and handle what you need to handle; I tend to agree with her and resolve to do better. Every payday, I get like anxiety attacks as to what to do, and then do some things, but some things I put aside; Last payday, I lost some of it while trying to pay a bill. I think the thing is to hold some BETWEEN paydays and pay off bills that ought to be paid.

I also spend money to pamper my self, but I do also save some of my money so that in case of emergency I have money to use... Use your money on things that you really need but not on the things you just like... Like and need are different... =)

I would love to be able to save a little bit of money here and there for special things like vacations, new furniture and things like that. But unfortunately we don't make enough money to be able to save any of it. My boyfriend has 4% of his income go towards his 401K but otherwise everything goes right to bills and immediate necessities. I am not a big fan of saving lots of money though because what good is money if you can't enjoy it? You never know where life will take you and I like to live for the moment rather than the unknown future!

Well I just spent some of my savings to get a new acoustic guitar, a guitar strap and a new amplifier for my electric guitar. I am always happy to look at the fruits of my labor, and to reach my next target is what I'm gonna focus on now. I still have things that I want to buy, but I have to save again to achieve those "precious" possessions in my life!;)

I try to save money but end up spending. I am not so good at saving money. I wish I could save some money for emergencies. I also use my cc if I am short of money. That says it all.

Hi there. Like you, I always save some money each month because I would like to have some money tucked in when in time of need. Though, my income is not too big, I still manage to save even with all the bills and expenses in the house. I try to avoid unecessary purchases and try to live my life as simply as I could and enjoy what I already have.(=

I only spend the money if I need to but if I do not then I will save the money until I need to use it again someday.

Having a large family its a bit hard to save anything but I ahve foudn the best way is to have a certain portion direct deposited to a savings account that way its liek you never have it as long as you dont get in the habit of pulling it out it'll be there for when you really, really, really need it.

I like to save money for the future. Since I think we can only depend on ourselves rather than others. So it's better we have some savings so that we can use it when it's necessary.

I spend my money wisely especially now that we live in difficult times and economy in our country is dropping. I save money as wisely as I can so I can have something to pick up during emergencies.

Well, of course. Savings is very important. You just do not know when an emergency will strike. If you do not have any savings, how would you address the situation? In any emergency, money is always the overriding concern. Today, it is necessary to save at least 15 to 20% of your income. To bolster it even more, you can always make it if you cut down on your unnecessary expenses like smoking, drinking and buying brand named clothes.

Actually both I spend and save a few bucks if I can. Why I spend? simple everyday is spending. I cannot pass a day without spending, you know what I mean. But I do save some even sometimes its hard to. That's for the future use and unexpected emergencies. But the main point why I tried to save is for my family which I intend to give them the best that I can.
