This discussion is for both males and females (amoebas pls refrain), young and old, married and single (whichever stage). The concept of wearing a ring is certainly not a new one today. i don't.but it doesn't mean i don't like to wear ring. I like special material and kinds of rings.

lucky frog with coin - Money Frogs are said to draw wealth to your home or office. This mythical creature is said to appear every full moon near homes that will receive good news of increased wealth or monetary gain. They are called ""Chan Chu"" in Chinese but are more commonly known as the Money Frog.
In ancient China, these mythical frogs are believed to be the bearer of good fortune, which is why you see them bringing a string of coins with them. The three-legged money frog holds a Chinese Coin in its mouth and sits on a pile of coins symbolizes the incoming wealth for you. It is usually placed near cash registers or in a wealth corner (the furthest back left corner of a room or building). Also, placing him inside your front door facing inwards symbolizes money coming in to your home or business.
One of the most auspicious of the creatures of Feng shui, the Three Legged Toad literally has three legs. It is said to be a creature that has the power to attract wealth and prosperity. The three-legged toad should be placed in the corner diagonally opposite to the door. Care should be taken that it looks in with the expectation of wealth.
Although there is no limit to how many toads there should be, the total number of the toads placed inside the house should not exceed nine. They can also be in multiples of nine.
Please do not place this statue in the bedroom, bathroom or kitchen as it could bring about negative energy in those rooms. Also do not place him facing your front door as this could symbolize money leaving your home
All Above mentioned Descriptions are according to Chinese Mythology seller is not Responsible for any Consequence.
I have a single Chinese-gold ring with a lucky Chinese frog on top (gold). I put it on my pinky (little finger) left hand. This is an heirloom from my mother. It's said to be lucky. I don't know about the 'lucky' but I know it looks good on my finger. It always catches people's attention. =) Below is a picture of me, wearing it.

I used to wear rings on my fingers all the time until I gained a little bit of weight and my fingers got a little bigger. I can't get them on right now. I hope I can lose a little weight in my fingers so I can wear a couple of them again.

I do wear ring when I go out. But when I am in a hospital duty, I never wear it, microorganism may lodge in your ring that can infect the patients. When washing my hands and when I am home, I take them off.

I used to wear a thumb ring when I was younger, but after working as a chef I stopped using rings. Even though I don't work as a chef anymore, I still don't wear any rings, except on special occassions. I feel that they are in the way, wedding and engagement rings are the only ones I would wear on an every day basis. I might start again soon though, who knows? ;D
