Hi weemam, hope all is well. I am glad to hear that things have been taken care of for you, but be careful. Wasps aren't big fans of water. My suggestion would be a can of raid Wasp Killer. Hopefully another nest doesn't get built and they are history!

hubby says it can be spelt either bike or byke but it is a Scottish word for the wasps nest , This is a great site we learn so much about other countries xxx

Yes, that was very good of your neighbour to take out the wasps' nest while you were away from home. I doubt they're trying to build another nest, unless the queen is still around. They're probably a bit lost at the moment, but just to be on the safe side, your hose idea isn't a bad one, my friend. Brightest Blessings.

Those are definitely wonderful neighbors that you have. I'm glad he got it down for you. Those critters will always try to go back to where the nest was and try to start another one. So keep an eye on it ok? Take care hon.

That was really nice of him to get rid of it for you. So now they are trying to make another nest becarful they don't lie water but can chase you. Might have to get one of those wasp spray and maybe they will go away from the smell.

I have sprayed it with air freshener after I hosed it , they were trying to make another one lol . I am going to try using my steam cleaner , that is supposed to kill anything xx

I have lovely neighbors too, and they come over occasionally and kill weeds, etc. I have one that cuts out undesirable trees as well. It is good he did it while you were gone, as they might have stung you. I would love to go drive to a lake today.

OK,I'm here to read the part two.First glad to see that the wasps bike was away.
