Attatched is a shot of my large Lily bed in front of my living room window. They have finally bloomed to their death. No more of these until next spring. Maybe I can blame this on my son-in-law? Yeah that's it, Andy killed them all doing my gutters. yeah he is the guilty party here. HAHAHAHA!! I am morbid I think posting pictures of flowers that are all done blooming and looking deathly ill. But I just like posting and taking photos so here you go. Next year I'll have these in a different location. That's if this fall I get off my lazy azz and dig them up and transplant them before the first frost. HAHAHAHA!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Oh...how sad. We planted lilies for the first time this summer and just like yours, they are all dying now too. But not due to someone working on the gutters. LOL! But due to all the big storms we've been getting :( I'm going to miss my lilies too. Since I can't tell from the pics, what colour were yours? We have some yellow ones and some orange ones. I think for next year, we want to get some white ones.

I had, pink, yellow, orange, maroon, white. I think that's the colors I had. I've about 55 or 60 Lilies all together growing. I love Lilies as you can probably tell. Search through my discussions I've got a lot about my Lily bed(s) with photos added. Thanks for the response as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Wow! That's a lot of lilies. I only have 2 this summer cos' I can't afford to buy so many. But they are SO pretty even though they don't last very long. I will definitely get more next year. And hope my 2 will come back next year!

3 years ago we bough 9 Lily plants from brecks.com Those turned into about 45 now. We bought 4 at WalMart and those are spreading already quite proficiantlly. They spread like wildfire under the right conditions. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Having the plants dying back makes fall seem close at hand. I thought summer was going slowly, but now I find it is going really fast. I wish you luck getting around to it. Me too! I would appreciate that son in law for being so willing to help. I am sure you do, really. I love bulbs when they come back and thrill us from year to year.

Lol well Tyler still expects to get some of them. I think they conspired together so Tyler could get his flowers.
