A Shaving Kit - Which shaving razor do you prefer?

I am using a gillette mach3 razor and blade and find it very comfortable. Prior to shifting to mach-3, i was using a single blade and razor for shaving. I had tried the twin blade for quite some time but found that the twin blades got un-usable in 2-3 shaves as the hair used to get trapped between the two blades and the blades used to prove ineffective. But the mach-3 is simply amazing and does not has such problem. Which razor do you use for shaving?

Everyone raves about the Venus razor blade but I can't afford that stuff, it is pretty expensive. I use the Daisy triple blade disposable and it works pretty well!

I use the Venus, and even though it is a bit pricy it is awesome! Honestly in the long run it ends up saving you money because the blades are great quality so they don't need to be replaced as often as disposables!

I'm happy with my gillette double blade, not sure what the exact name of the product is but it does the good without any problems and I haven't had a shaving cut with it yet. So its good enough for own use.

I use Gillete Presto, I find it most convenient, cheap and easy to use. Mach 3 razor, I found is pretty sharp and make cuts on my skin.

I just use whatever I get. I try to send away for free ones, and if I get some I get them, if not then I steal my brother's or father's. :)

Yeah! I too use a mach3 gillette razor for shaving nowadays. It gives a clean shave unlike using a twin blade. How long do you use one mach3 blade.Because of my habit of daily shaving,I feel comfortable to use it upto 3 months. And I have to use it for a long period having in mind,it is very expensive to afford. But it is worth using a mach3.Thanks and cheers!

I use a twin blade. I use hot water to rinse out the hair between the blades. I have not had a problem with the twin blades.

Good question- I use whatever I get in the mail- I send away for freebies all the time- and it seems like razors are always out there on the web for free- I haven’t bought any razors in at least a year- the ones you get in the mail are the refill ones- so you get the razor and 1 blade- and they hope that you go purchase new blades- not me I toss them- I think right now I’m using a Venus- and loving it!

I think i've worked my way through every Gillette Razor on the market as it seems every time they release a new one it's so much better than the last, so I'm now using the Fusion and it does shave very close and smooth.

Even i am using the mach 3. But I used the ordinary blade for years and i was not an expert to use that. Each and every time some cuts will be in my face when I was using the ordinary Blade. Later I switched over to twin blades. It was very comfortable on those days. There is no blade injuries on face and it was very smooth to use. Again when the mach-3 introduced I switched over to the mach-3. the shaving sensation is still beautiful. But sometimes I am not comfortable with the mach-3, because it also gives 3 or four shaves only.

I have never had a better shave than with the mach3, and have been using it ever since it first came on the market. It is just so smooth, and with practicly no razor burn. I do remember going away and forgetting it, and bought some cheap 2blade disposables. Never again! Next time, I'll just let it grow, lol!

I alos use the gillette mach 3. It is the best ever! I have been using it since it came out. I tried the women's version when it came out, but it wasn't the same for me. I even tried the Schick quattro when it came out...didn't like it. I get 3-4 shaves from the mach 3 blades..I have no worries of knicking myself, and I can breeze right through shaving.

LOL...don't laugh too hard, but I always steal my husband's Mach-3 when I need to do the leg shaving thing. I have my own (Venus Divine...if you must know), but his works so much better. It drives him up the wall too! So I end up not only having to buy my refill blades, but extras for hubby's too in case I decide to sneak it away from him. LOL

I think gillette mach3 razor is the best as once i asked in the market which is the best shaving blade and they said that anway it was for my boyfriend and was funny that he had the same one in his toilet box. Anyway i don't know much about it even though i try to.

I've used a Mach III before, and couldn't stand it. I'm assuming my whiskers are just too thick. The Mach III didn't really "cut" them; it felt more like it was ripping them out by the roots!!! I've also used a single-bladed BIC. It wore out quickly, but I actually found it less irritating than the Mach III. For a long time, the only thing that felt comfortable on my face was a Norelco (electric shaver). Now, I use "ACTI-FLEXX" moving blade cartridges. They're twin blades, yet more comfortable than any single or triple blade I've ever used. I've introduced a lot of friends to them, and created a bit of a dilemma for myself in doing so. 5-packs of ACTI-FLEXX cartridges usually sell for $5 U.S. or more at regular stores, but the 99 Cents Only Stores are selling them for, you guessed it, 99 cents!!! The problem is, sometimes the 99 Cent takes awhile to restock after they run out. Well, back when I was still living in Turlock, they started running out even faster, because all my friends were buying them! :S

I normally don't shave. I have that kind of face that can't grow much, I have a goatee. but when I do shave I use a Bic dispoable razor I have had a three pack for about 7 years and only used one of them.

I absolutely love Noxema razors. They come in a 4-pack in beautiful colors and they never cut me(amazing)...and they are reasonably priced, which is important to me.

I usually shave my legs with a Mach 3. Unfortunately I ran out of blades, and it was cheaper to get 2 packs of disposable Venus razors than a pack of blades. So I figured I'd give them a try -- thus far I quite like them and might switch to a regular Venus when I can afford it. I'll keep the Mach 3 tho, I like it and it's always good to have a backup.
