What do you use on bead work to keep it straight?

I have been putting together some ear rings that are beaded on a silver loop. I want then (the beads) to stay in a row and not flop around. What is the best thing to use on them to keep then stiff and in line?I have been told different things from Mod Podge to clear nail polish. What ideas do you have to tell me?

well i have never done that much bead work but it is something that i would want to try when i get more time on my hands but because i do not do that much bead work and i am not that good at it is is hard for me to picture exactly what it is that you are talking about the best thing that i can think of to use would be some sort of glue if you use elmers white glue it will dry clear so you will not even know that the glue is there whatever you decide to use good luck
