500 Rating ACHIEVED at the worst of times on MYLOT.

I just achieved the 500 rating here on mylot. But the situation is quite bad and I haven't enjoyed a bit. I'm not enjoying mylot as I did before but now it is like a deserted town. People are leaving at a rapid pace, as I have noticed but many of you might not agree. Many comeback to mylot to keep in contact with friends. I have also noticed mylot paying a HELL lot less as compared to previous days. Since my comeback to mylot I haven't even touched double earning figures yet, OMG. I have earned a mere 6 cents for 12 posts. Mylot has payed less I don't know why but I will keep on posting. I don't think mylot will keep it up like this.
What do you think about mylot's current situation? Would you leave mylot? Would you join a PTC site which pays good? Do tell me
BUT PLEASE PLEASE DON'T TAKE ME AS NEGATIVE, CAN'T I SHARE MY VIEWS ABOUT MYLOT. I HAVE MY RIGHTS, DON'T I HAVE?

Hi, I agree that people are leaving and I think this is cause by mylots earnings, I am not on here for mylot earnings If I was only here for money I would of left ages ago. I am here because there are coutless discussions from people who are interested in the services and money making opportunities I provide.
I was under the impression that you earned 1c for each disscussion you respond to and 1c when people respond to your discussions. On Friday I responded over 30 times and started 4 discussions which have over 40 responses too. and my earngins went up 9c
Since I started using mylot I must have contributed at least 500 time and had probably twice that in responses to my discussions by my balance in 1.62
I do make money from mylot but thats by introducing mylot users to my services and the websites i own

I agree with you with everything you say. I also notice myself that when I was starting posting here I was making more. Then lately it's getting less and less. I have noticed it myself because I try to manage to upload pictures everday and I they are paying lesser and lesser as time pass by. That's why I try to post more now to add up my earnings to at least reach the pay out. I have now $13.35 though. I am still trying to make at least $15 this month so here I am posting as much as I can this few days left.

In any business, almost, this month is very slow and as we get a little further, August of September, it will get some speed again. At least there are lots more signups now than six months ago, so I am sure that when people come from vacations, they will start to post again.

what do i think? I think that i agree with you on everything you said here.
and i also think that there should be a creative way to start over with this site.
i am sure that if mylot would not pay a cent to anyone until they reached the 500 post, there will be a lote of quality posts here, and if they will read each post and decide if it meets the standards of quality and only then pass it, till the 500 post it can be a good idea.
I really do not know what reputation is there to quantity with very little quality.

Starting over will also result in a great impression like the members which are working hard to get something to this site. I've seen a great dwindle in the quality posting here on my lot.

Hello there omer_ahmed_tabarik!
First of all I have to say that you do have a right to post your opinions in any discussion that is the sole purpose of this forum. Thus is why I feel that you should not apologize for being honest, my friend.
I also agree with you, a lot of things have changed here on Mylot. Although I have only been here for four months, I have noticed a change in the past two weeks. I don’t know what is it though, but it is beginning to affect me, I used to log in and post at lease twenty responses a day but for the past few weeks I am lucky if I post ten.
Furthermore, all I can say abut Mylot’s current situation is; I hope that it begins to pick up and members are less inclined to continue to leave because I enjoy Mylot and without those members, it just does not seem to be the same.

Congrats to you on reaching 500 posts. I am trying very hard to reach.

i think i have to agree with what you say... yes, a lot of people are leaving mylot nowadays and the payment also has gone down the hill for this month in particular... but i will hang on there as i love this site too much and i just try to have fun here... i just treat the earnings as an extra...

I think I'm one of those who have kinda left. But, I'm posting less on all of my discussion sites except those that deal with art. That's because I am trying to be an artist for a living and I want to increase my chances of becoming successful.
Yes, the pay has gone way down and there is less motivation to post here.

I think mylot can't afford to pay the rates it used too. I've been with the site since near the start and now with over 100,000 members I can understand that they need to reduce the payments per post. I myself now spend hardly any time on here as I've seen nearly ever discussion before and it's not as worth my while.

Things will pick up for you eventually, I'm sure. My fiance and I were just talking about how there is never enough time to do anything, and just when we get our goals in line something else comes up and blows everything all to crap.

I agree mylot has gone downhill since I started too, I left for a little while ago and was gone for a few months because of personal reasons, but When I came back, it was a whole other place and story.
I thik that SOME people are being immature about thinfs like this. No we all do know we are not going to make a lot of money, but like anybody we only want what we are worth.
I feel that this place does need a way to start over for people. As someone said at the begining of this discussion, sorry my memory drew a blank on the name.
Anyway, if you could start over and get all the people who cannot keep an open mind, and let people express their own opinions without critisism, rather with a rebuttle,out of here, it would be a lot better.
My grammar is not the best, but I know and I'm pretty sure you know too what I am trying to say.

Yup, you have your rights and I think you're right:P I've seen a lot of mylotters leaving due to the diminishing earnings. And I've also noticed that I don't even reach my usual earnings even if I have worked double time posting and responding to discussions. But anyway, congratulations on your reaching your 500th post. It is still something to feel good about.

I've only been with myLot for 2 months, so I can't compare it to a long time ago. But I see a lot of people making posts about how it has changed. It is too bad that you achieved the 500 milestone and don't feel good about it. I hope things will change so you can enjoy it more again.

Congratulations at least on your 500 posts. I remember when I reached that milestone so I could copy and paste writings from my notepad. Now I'm not concerned about any other milestone, I guess reaching 1000 would be pretty cool, but I'm not in a hurry to do it.
I really need to put an effort into thinking up some good discussion topics. My problem is that I can't just talk about anything, don't want to pluck up just anything out of midair and pretend it's interesting. Know what I mean.
There used to be some great writers here on mylot who were spontaneous and fun and interesting, even controversial without being crude. Perhaps there will be another spurt of creative writing that will spur this forum back into life.

Congrats for crossing 500 score. I too noticed that for the same discussions and responses, what they were paying last month, now it is reduced. Of course I enjoy being in Mylot with so many unknown friends and so many topics. But for the effort we are putting in, may be if the payment is a bit increased, it may be an incentive for members to use Mylot more. Thanks for opening this discussion wherein many can voice their thoughts.

I am not as experienced as you are, but all the same I see that every day I make less and less money here. also, I check for new discussions and half the topics aren't even a little bit interesting!
