What’s happening to Mylot?

Well mylot certainly has changed.I brought this up yesterday.Its not the same.I mean alot of members are gone.Its hard to find a great discussion and people are being rude to others.People are reporting discussions as being offensive when they arent and last but not least the earnings has decreased alot.All those has drove loyal members away.Sometimes i come on just to see whats going on and checking up on friends.Yes i've said the same thing yesterday take a look http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1220612.aspx

it does seem to be getting boring i have a hard time finding anything od interest mostly folks trying to sell us on thier blog or some other site

yes, i agree with you liyan. most of topic discussion here not like the previous one. many new member posting unqualified topic discussion. Im sorry i told these thing without any mean to offense someone. and lots of old mylotter being inactive again in mylot. so sad, right? and in my opinion too, mylot already change their way to pay mylotter. It seem more difficult to find more $$$ in here.

you are right it has changed alot. it is sad cause i use to really love it here. its just now the discussions are the same and the same thing over and over. i mean yes we will all end up asking the same as someone else and not know it that is not that big of a deal but some of the discussions are just dumb. like what did you eat today. i have seen taht one alot. i start discussions and get hardly any replies cause what i ask is a real thing i guess and will take some thought. but the earning are bad now too. i mean i got a penny for yesterday. i dodnt come here as often anymore cause it takes me forever to find something to respond to now. use to i could just about post to everything now it is hard to find a good discussion

Dear liyan97, I get time to post answers only to my friends' discussions. All my friends' discussion come to my email inbox. When a discussion is beyong my knowledge to answer I just skip them otherwise wherever possible I answer all my friends' dicussion. Since my friends' circle has been increased I found it is not possible to answer all my friends' discussion. I always try to answer as much as possible as I can.

Hello, liyan, I'll say there is the same puzzle in me also. I've been in mylot for almost 2 months. At the beginning, I came here every day and posted many discussions. It seemed there were many interesting discussions. But not long after I was a memeber in Mylot, I found that I nearly lost interest in it, and I was not enthusiastic in Mylot as I had been before. So, I stopped come here for a long time, almost 1 and half months. Two days ago, I remembered Mylot and came here again to see if there were any interesting things happened here. To my disappointment, I just saw the same mylot as I saw at the beginning. And what's more, I found that Mylot paid us much less than before. Honestly, most people come here for the sake of money, and now, the money is decreased, so the number of people decreased. I think this is the main reason that mylot does not look like the one as it used to be.

I know that I am going to be busier and busier. School starts soon, and I also work a second job. I report rude people, or at least give them - and I do not put up with abuse. However, I seldom see these cases, as I almost exclusively answer friends discussions. Even they are not posting much, though. I am hoping that myLot gets back to more of itself once summer is over in the US, and people have more indoor time. I have answered as many of my friends' discussions as I care to today, so I am looking around at other people's discussions for a change. It can be interesting.

that's so sad. but i dont think any got changed here in mylot.com. But, as for as new members are concerned, your are right that, it's getting crammed here. But, that's the order of the day, so keep continuing your responses and discussions. All the best

I am finding it harder to post or respond to discussions here on mylot too. Nothing really catches my eye to respond to. I don't want to just reply to any and everything just because. I do see that some people are becoming a little more rude to one another.

Thats right! Many discussions are just repeated ones nowadays and most of the time, many users end up with answering the same or similar posts, which is not good for the quality of the Mylot. Hope this changes soon.

I think it's because a lot of people are on vacation and away for weeks at a time or just out enjoying the good weather. I have one friend who I know is visiting relatives for most of the summer and they don't have a pc.
