"There is no substitute for victory."

These famous words were uttered by the late General Douglas MacAuthor. I do wish that today we had more people who understood those words. All throughout the history of this great country, we have always strived for victory. It doesn't matter if it is sports or war. I used to think the Buffalo Bills loved to lose Super Bowls, I even came up with an acronym for their name. "Boy I love losing Super Bowls." I thought that the city of Buffalo was the only place in America who could but up with losing (no offense to the people who live in Buffalo). I have realized that that is just not true. Dems must love losing too. They love losing so much that I think we should change the name of their party to the Defeatist Party. Maybe even change the left wing of their party to the Losing wing of the party. Should they not change their symbol from a donkey (even though a lot of them are that) to a white surrender flag? Is that not what they are? Has the party not locked the future of their success to the defeat of the U.S. Armed Forces? There is nothing democratic about these people. Iraq can't form a democratic government without us. Do not be so naive that we can just pull out and everything is going to be a o.k. I would rather error on the side of victory than to error on the side of defeat. I would rather support victory than be popular.

Oh, I don't think anyone who's calling for a withdrawal of our troops thinks everything will be OK afterward. The problem is that it's not OK now, and it doesn't seem to be getting any closer to OK despite the great effort of our troops.
