My health discussions are gone?

I've been looking for this one post I had done for a while and couldn't find it, it was about a natural remedy that helped me with my asthma. Then I was looking for another post that had a lot of responses and someone had posted really great natural remedies and now that post is gone too? All of my other ones are fine, even the ones with zero responses, just the ones with the natural remedies disappeared. What gives? I know that a lot of sites, if they get some of their funding from goverment agencies or medical/pharmacy type companies do frown upon people posting natural remedies online. There is this one guy who published two great books and he gets threats from these companies all the time. Because if people know that they can find cures or help for a fraction of what they are paying for many medications then a lot of these businesses would go out of business and both they and the government would loose money. But I doubt little myLot has anything to do with some major conspiracy to keep us hooked on meds, lol. I just thought it odd that the two that ended up having natural remedies are totally gone. Meanwhile there are a thousand fake posts about injured animals or illness that don't exist from spam posters... which are still there. But heaven forbid somebody post something helpfull. Good grief!

Oh, honey, I am so sorry about all of this..I just don't understand how it all works...I would think a post like that would surely stay on the boards...It is very important to people to find other ways of coping...This was a very helpful, and much needed post...I will be thinking about you....

It is a shame though. You are trying to help people. I just don't understand why good people sometimes get the short end of the stick..

I know it's crazy! I'm used to the short end of the stick, I'm only 5'2 so it's closer, lol.

Thanks! I thought it was important too but who knows. All I can do is leave it for my blog or maybe post something more general in nature. The one post that was more general is still there but the ones talking about specific things are gone. Live and learn I guess.

Oh my goodness. I've seen some really old stuff on here. I'm really sorry that happened to you. Maybe they think someone will sue them if they try something and get sick or die. People are so quick to take other people to court now days. Just a thought.

Thanks, it's true that people are quick to sue. I doubt anybody could get sick from my advice, it was just to drink apple juice, lol. But I did mention that doing so saved me almost $200 in 2 months on medication since I wasn't having to buy it as often. Oh well.. I rewrote that discussion and posted in in my natural health blog: http://au-naturale.blogspot.com.

I think I heard on an infomercial today that it is against federal law to recommend curing diseases with something other than medicine. At least that is how it sounded to me.

I have seen this on some other posts as well. One in particular about using peroxide for stuff around the house. I do not understand, unless myLot is afraid of being sued if some one tries your advice and it does not work for them. I believe that I have seen other discussions about this as well. People may have to send you a personal message to find out what works for you.

It's funny that you mention the peroxide because that is one of the major things that companies were suing that guy about. I worked in an ER for years and we often used peroxide on the patients to cure all kinds of things, of course they never told them in was just peroxide they were getting a $500 bill for. Can u imagine having to pay $500 for something you can buy at walmart for 88 cents? Total rip off! I think it's sad that a lot of companies are trying to hide things like that, there are so many people that can't afford the big name medications and maybe simple cures (which are centuries old and proven) could help them.
