I just want to work as a community worker but in an English speaking country especially in South African countries, but iam most interested in working with communities, basically training them on issues to do with development work and on issues to do with HIV/ AIDS. Any employer interested in this description is wellcome and am ready for interviews anytime. I have a Diploma in Social Work and I have also just completed a degree in the same field, from Makerere University Kampala, Uganda.

Hello. have you heard of VSO -- VSO is an international development charity that works through volunteers. Anyways, perhaps you can use your skills there as a volunteer. :)

I suggest you contact the South african department of Social Services. Since we have an intense shortage of social workers, and especially people who know how to do participatory development work, I am sure there is a place for you somewhere. Your basic three year degree will qualify you as an auxillary social worker in South Africa. You need an Honours degree to qualify as a social worker. I wish you the best of luck
