Device a method/techniques that can be emplyed/used by the social worker to develop and maintain a casual relationship with local authorities

Stormchild The technique is called networking, the process capacity building. You pick up the phone and you make an appointment, then you go to the local authority or counsellor or whoever, introduce yourself and tell them that you're around. not hard. cheers

Stormchild You do seem to have the most accessible resource in the world, which is the internet. Have a look at narative therapy, people around here are doing wonders with that and abused children. Look it up under Google.com for starters. One can sometimes contact...

Iam looking for a vacancy to work as a community worker
