What do you put in your tuna salad?

Everyone has a different recipe it seems. What's your favorite? Depending on my mood, I tend to make 1 of 2 "recipes." The first one is how my mom made it (to make a little tuna feed a family of 5 for dinner + a lunch or two). 1 large can of tuna (drained) 3 hardboiled eggs (chopped) mayo mustard salt and pepper You basically combine everything. My mom usually did about 4 heaping tablespoons of mayo and 1 tablespoon of mustard with a dash (or two) of salt and pepper. When I'm in the mood for something a little tangier and a little crunchier, I make this one: 1 small can of tuna (drained) 2 baby dill pickles (diced) 1 stalk of celery (diced) 1 tablespoon spicy mustard 1/2 tablespoon mayo salt & pepper minced garlic optional Everything gets mixed and served on toast or by itself. I don't recommend eating this if you've got a date that night, LOL.

I love tuna salad. I put in can of tuna, mayo, dill pickles, onion, and celery. I love tuna salad with a crunch. If I am using sweet pickles or relish I use Miracle Whip to make the tuna salad with. I like it either way.

I can't stand tuna! It grosses me out to think about it. I do love chicken salad. I use a can of chicken, onions, pickles, a little lemon juice and mayo, salt and pepper.

I always make my tuna salad with onion & green pepper with some mayo. Then i like to put some lettuce on the wheat bread. I prefer wheat over white. sometimes iI toast the bread, and put a little butter on it.

I usually just put tuna soaked in brine, mayonaise, chopped diced red onions, salt and sugar. The sugar is optional.

HERE ARE my favorite recipes of tuna salad... Quick Tuna Salad SUBMITTED BY: HJT "This tuna salad is great when you are in a hurry; very quick and easy to make. It tastes great every time! INGREDIENTS * 1 (7 ounce) can solid white tuna packed in water, drained * 1/4 cup creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip™) * 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish, or to taste DIRECTIONS 1. Mash tuna together with salad dressing and relish in a small bowl with a fork. Serve. -------------------------------------------- Pesto Tuna Salad with Sun-Dried Tomatoes SUBMITTED BY: DC Girly Girl "I was bored and hungry, and wondering what I was going to do with some left-over pesto and some pesky sun-dried tomatoes that I wanted to get out of the fridge. I'm also a low-carber, so pasta was out of the question. It may seem kind of a weird combination, but the sun-dried tomatoes gave the tuna salad a nice sweetness and added an interesting texture." INGREDIENTS * 1 (6 ounce) can canned tuna * 1/4 cup prepared basil pesto sauce * 6 oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and diced * 2 tablespoons mayonnaise * 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese DIRECTIONS 1. In a bowl, mix the tuna, pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, mayonnaise, and Parmesan cheese. Cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
