I have to agree with Sutocu, something that I don't start singing along to generally helps me stay on task. I need some sort of rhythmic, melodic noise to make sure that my mind is stimulated, so guitar/instrumental/classical/enya/sounds of nature etc seem to help me. On the flip side, though I can also focus fairly well whilst listening to Metal or Industrial. If the Killers works for you, then I'd stick with it. I guess it depends what you're into.

Something instrumental that doesn't try to grab your attention all the time. I like Enya for instance.
