Some are beautiful, Some are ugly, Some are simple, Some are $tyL!$h, Some are short, Some are BIG, Some are attractive, Some are irritating, Some are confusive, some are artistic, some look s.t.u.p.i.d and disgusting. What am i talking about? Hmm....people? No, their signatures. Exactly, that *Some* above stands for the SIGNATURES. Most of the times when i see someone's signature, i try to find its relevance with their name. Signatures are difficult to understand, only the signer would be knowing its meaning. Its always better to develop a long, ugly and ununderstandable signature, something which looks as if a scribble. They are difficult to forger. So, tell me, how your signature looks like? Describe it. What impression does it give? C@LLiGRaPH!C or C.h.i.c.k.e.N-Scratchy? Ever been complimented for your signature? Also, let me know whether it is easy to FORGE your signature or not? Mine is a short and simple signature, anybody can forger it with some practice. I started using it about 5 or 6 years back. At that time, i had no enough maturity to think about forgeries and all. The only thought that was on my mind when i decided to practice my own signature was, it should be short, simple and easy to master within no time. I feel silly now, i can't change since its printed on all the certificates and other documents. I may have to go to the court to get it changed and as you all know i'm too lazy to even THINK of it!!

My signature is sloppy, but readable. I worked very hard to get it that way. To me it hads to the mystery of a person. If it is just neat, it doesn't stand out. If it is sloppy, it doesn't stand out. But, if it is sloppy, yet readable, to me, it is cool. Besides, I am not yet important enough to have a signature that not even I can read.

When I was in school I would hear about children forging their parent signature. I was always to afraid of being caught. My handwriting is very unique and I have to really work hard to change it. I needed for it to be easy to understand yet hard to copy.

My signature is short and simple and i think almost anyone can forger it with a little practice. But one must stick to my handwriting. I am thinking of changing it. Thank you for reminding me.

I can write with both hands. There aren't a lot of people that can switch when they feel like it, so think its harder to copy my writing. There are times I write large, but if I have been filling in a lot of forms that day its small.

Any signature is easy to forge if you're good at it. No matter how pretty or horrible your handwriting is someone out there who is an expert at it could do it I'm sure. My signature is loopy. I do the first letter of my first name as a regular capital letter and then the last letters all cursive. I usually include my middle initial and my last name is always some version of a line. sometimes a straight line and sometimes a loopy line. it varies. if you compared my own signature, you'd think i was a different person every time.

By using complicated signatures, atleast one can save themselves from the humiliation of being forgered by his/her own kid:p Also, there are some chances of the forger making minor errors when the signature is too long, sloppy and complicated. If someone has such an expertise in doing forgereries, let him challenge his skills again, why make the task much more easier for him by choosing a simple n short sign? We should do everything that is in our hands to be safe.

Not if the kid wants to get away with it. Cause I know my moms signature is complicated and I could forge it like nobodies business when I was a kid. I forged one of my teachers signatures all the time in high school too.

My signature is huge! Just like my aura. I walk into a room and everyone can feel my presence. I try to not write so large, but I have such a hard time. My hand cramps up if I write small. My letters are angular and fast. People think I have very masculine writing. When I write anonymously, they always think it's a guy. Writing on a chalkboard is my favorite place to write. Then I can get my entire being into it. For me this was a fun topic, hopefully for you, too. I like doing handwriting analysis, too. It's a fun hobby. Take care

Unfortunately yes it can be easily forged, trouble is it's been my natural signature for 35 years and to change it now would outfox ME! Not others and if someone was hellbent on stealing your identity and/or if they were pros a signature wouldn't stop them, some really hard signatures have been easily copied! I guess if you are unlucky you'll be caught out somewhere along the line. Criminals get more clever as technology gets better sadly!

Yeah, we can only make it tougher for those who are not well versed in forging.

My signature after marriage, is quite long and complicated. My maiden surname was short and so was my signature but post marriage with a long surname, my signature has become too long and complicated for my liking. When I first, started it, I was quite proud of it, specially the flair at the end, but now I think it was quite foolish of me to go for such lengthy signature. I would not be able to pull it off in old age.

i decided my signature while still in secondary school and i was so obsessed with mastering it that i used to fill up all news papers and back pages of my copies with my new found signature! it's another thing now when i look at it and see no difference than that time.;) it's a middle one, it seems easy to forge this but when one tries to do so it's not that easy a job!:) mine would perhaps look like this---$sges as in my signature only first letter is scrambled!:) and i put it all in a kind of circle in the end. once i was reading in a book that it shows the introvert aspect of one's personality!:) that's true a bit! by the way i wish my signature was more unreadable like those of famous people! they look so important and impressive!lol

HaHaHa....i too was like you, signing on all the newspapers, calenders and other stuffs. Infact, i'm surprised reading your response. I find your personality to be almost same as mine. I'm also shy and introvertish in real life, don't like hanging out with friends too much, not at all a party animal. May be that's why i feel comfortable interacting with you.

My signature looks a bit stylish and beautiful and i guess it will be hard for people to forge my signature. I think we should try to keep a signature which will be unique and also not easy for others to forge it. I saw some signatures very easy to be forged by others, and some looks stupid also but i heard that our signatures shows what we really are. We should try to maintain a signature that others will not be able to copy it in that way its safer for our documents.

nice question......mine's simple..has a loop and some unintelligible peaks. I think it can be forged, I just hope it's not too easy! I think all signatures can be forged by the most determined people no matter how complicated we make it to be.

make the task difficult for them, let them challenge their skills. Also, that way its easy to trace out whether the signature is a forged one or not.

Hi Maddy My signature comes under the category of Stylish as well as difficult to be forged .. Actually just one letter is difficult to make else all others are simple .. I used to make a stylish P in my signature which others can't make .. I won't say that they will never be able to make it .. if someone is going to copy it and will spend the whole day on it .. then I am sure he/she will definitely be able to make it .. because nothing is impossible in this life .. and signature copying is not a difficult task for some people .. but by the way what am I doing ?? I am telling my signature secrets here .. Lolzz

My signature is simple and easy to understand. It's little bit calligrafic and artistic. It also reflects my personality in some manner. I am very simple, easy to understand and ready to learn new things. I think having simple signature may create problem for me also. As anybody can copy it after some practive. I must also think to change it in near future and make it more complicated and very hard to copy for better security.

my signature is simple running one with all small alphabets. i write moughosh at one go. Its simple yet i donot think its that easy to forge. Once the banker told me that mine is difficult to forge even after practise. that's satisfying, never have thought it that way though.

I remember signing for the first time when i opened a bank account during my class 10.My name was so long and i practiced to sign in the same way so many times and still using the same way of signature.I think my signature can be forged easily as its not much complicting and who ever take a look at my sign can easily find out my name too.. Since i was in school i dont know whether we can sign in any manner whether hiding some letter and so on..i thought i need to sign my full name and did so..

Mine you can put in the category of 'simple'. I don't have very complicated nor much stylish signature. But I don't think anyone can write it same as mine.I like signature with letters like A or S, they can be designed nicely, but i don't have those alphabets in my sign, afterall name is selected by parents! ...lol!

my signature can definitely be forged. it is pretty nice, it's just basically just like the font that we learn to write in first grade. it's clear, not too big not too small and smooth. but it doesn't have a lot of "character" so it can be forged. i used to forge my parents signatures allllllllll the time because their's is not too nice. my parents only finished middle school so it's really easy for a child to forge their signatures (sry mommy and daddy!). i have been working on my signature to get more loops and more dramatic with it so that it would be harder to forge, like i'll try to make it look more professional and stuff... i don't know, i'm sure that every year i'll get better and have some sort of calligraphic thingy going on there..

HellO! My signature is short, it consist of my name only. I consider it stylish, artistic and a mess! it's very hard to forge as like I've said it's a mess. I've been using my signature since I was 18 when I registered as a voter. I do have a shortened version of my signature which i'm using in signing some unimportant documents. I always get mix comments about my signature, some will say it's cute, some it's cool and some would say it's difficult to forge. And I guess that's a good thing they can't forge my signature. Thanks. take care ciao! tchel
