I am thinking of getting this phone. Any thoughts on it? Have you used/bought it? Does it really pick up signals anywhere or does that really depend on your network? Is the keypad difficult to get used to? If you bought it without a contract, how much did you pay for it? I don't want to pay too much, although it seems to be somewhat popular. What about roaming? Does it work well for roaming?

V3 razor is a nice phone. Very stylish and light. I have used it for some days. In my country it cost 150$ without any plan. The main problem of this phoen I faced that it will mak u worried of breaking if u put it in ur jeans pocket beacuse it is not a hard one like nokia's. Another problem is that if its display damaged for any reason, you will never be able to repair it from any technician. Finally if its ribbon (the wire connector between its body and display) got damaged, it can not be repaired.

I used this phone for a year and I liked some things about it and disliked other things. I found it difficult to hear people on this phone compared to other phones. But, I found the keypad similar to other phones and it doesn't get real hot when you are texting like the phone I now use. Also, I like that the battery seems to stay charged for a long period of time, almost a week in my case. The ability to pick up signals and use networks depends on your phone service. I have used T-mobile for over a year and they have pretty good coverage and will use any network's phone towers. But, not all services will do that. How much it costs depends on where you buy it. At T-mobile, if you want to use a pre-paid plan, it would cost $110 dollars. Some contract plans include the phone for free or nearly free. I assume you say roaming as in using it on the road. The ability to use it from place to place depends on the number of cell towers in the areas you travel in. I've been in places where there are no towers at all, so you would get no signals in those areas.
