What would you do? I have given this much thought, and I have decided I have given to much to my family, and not to myself, and the things I wanted to do in my life. I am hoping to change that though. I need to start thinking about me for a change. I lost my husband, and it was least expected. Well it will be 6 years in October. We always said "We" would sit in our rocking chairs on the porch swing and grow old with each other. But that did not happen. Things change, I think I'm still trying to find my way in life. But it is hard as I have been giving a lot of time to my grandkids, and my daugther is doing her thing, which I don't agree with. I am still working on moving out though. I have had a few relationships, but they did not work out. Perhaps I have become to picky, but oh well So be it.I have my thoughts on this as well.
I wrote a previous discussion about that.

I've always said," Live each day to the fullest. Life is so short, your kids grow up so quickly! Take time to smell the roses". I have to say I have no regrets. Next month I will have been married for 52 years.(all to the same woman) and the time seems like yesterday. Its been fun. There have been setbacks but nothing earth shattering. I've been tempted a few times but never gave in! I'm getting old but my health is excellent. so is my wife's.. Thank God for small mercies!
