I'm not sure why I didn't view Miss Potter sooner; however, its a great movie. This movie is based on the life of Beatrix Potter, who wrote many books for children. Renée Zellweger does an excellent job making us understand how hard it was Beatrix, who lived with her parents longer than most women did at the time. Her parents didn't understand why she would rather write books and not hunt for a husband. Our society in the early 1900's expected women to act a certain way and just be a proper women that didn't spend any time in certain places.
I highly recommend viewing the movie. Its great for the entire family. Be sure and have a tissue, as there is a very sad situation in this movie.
