Are You Receptive To Spirits Or Ghosts?

I have found on many occasions that there were ghosts present. I have lived a few places and they have made their selves known to me. It can be very un nerving to me. I never expect it. I moved to this one apartment, a one bedroom, and it was an old historic house. It had like 8 apatments in it, but only 4 were occupied. The rest of the house was being restored. So anyway one day as I was still unpacking.. a ghost spoke to me. She was a woman and she told me she had been murdered in the bathroom. Her boyfriend did it. She told me there was blood everywhere. I got so upset I cried. I called my brother, and he thought I was nuts, and came over to calm me down. But it didn't stop there. I was seeing an ex boyfriend. He is a really nice guy, but I guess it wasn't ment to be, because everytime he came over, and after he left. She would move things around in my apartment! Knick knacks would be moved. Oneday I came home and a drawer was open, and another time silverware in my sink. When I told my friend I couldn't see him anymore, because I didn't feel the same anymore. All her antics stopped, and my cat ended up pregnant, and gave birth on my deceased husbands birthday. Now the apartment we live in today. Well my daughter was at work, and I got a visit from a serial killer, and career crimmanal. No I'm not making it up. He grew up and lived in my city.We were a few years apart. His name was Gary Evans. There is a book written about him. He killed himself (not here ). He died on August 14th, in the 90's. Anyway I was doing dishes at about 8pm at night, and he came up behind me. He wanted me to go to our basement. I said aloud "You are not real", but he persisted. I'm like no way am I going to that scary basement. He would not shut up. He told me where he wanted me to go. I asked him why, but he would not tell me. He said I would find out when I got there. He kept goading me, but I didn't go. I told my daughter about it, and she would not have any part of going to the basement with me, nor would anyone else. I can't figure out what his connection to this house is though. So now the job I have is in a retirement home, and many people have passed on there. The place has been there since 1885, and I get the feeling of spirits there as well.It can be spooky at night. But at least they are spirits that have died of old age. But lol they still mess with me a little. Once I walked into my bedroom in the dark, and I heard "we've been waiting for you", and I felt a cold chill. There are other stories, but I don't want to bore anyone. So has anyone else have anything like this happen to them?
