For those of you who already know, I have had problems with my son and finding doctors to diagnos him with something. Well it has finally happened, they have diagnosed him with Asperger Syndrome. I am still getting used to it but it has managed to explain all the difficulties my son has faced, that I have always wondered about. Such as the self~harm and social difficulties he faced at school. I am still learning about the disorder. Nonetheless, I am so greatful that I finally have an answer to my son's disability. I will no longer second guess. I have seen a change in myself after the diagnosis. I find myself being alittle more patient with him and just understanding what he needs. I appreciate all the prayers I have recieved in the past from all you wonderful members and I am glad to be back atleat until my classes start again in two weeks.

I am glad you finally have a diagnosis for your son. I have heard of Aspergers before. We thought my boyfriends son had it. Good luck to you and your son.

I am so glad you finally got an answer to prayers and your questions. It does make things seem easier when you know what is going on. I hope they will find some medication that will help him too. Thanks for the update.
