Any relationship can work, it doesn't matter how it starts, people meet people in many different ways, to me meeting someone on line so long as you are careful is a better way than meeting someone in a pub, I know two couples who met on line and they are doing fine, just take one step at a time and try and don't go over board at least until you meet each other as people can be very different to what you think but these sort of relationships can work...so enjoy.

Hi, Friends through net are not guarantee until we know more details after we meet them. Hence I hope it is better to be very careful while making friends through net in order avoid a worry later. I had an experience to meet a internet friend. After we met each other we both are from India but different State we talked for a long time. That friend came from Delhi to see me in Kerala more than 2000 kms. Soon we became as best friends and even now keep in touch. As he was so serious in our friend ship and I was confused so I requested to meet each, we met and it was a really a pleasant time we talked a lot a lot lastly the cafe owner told us it is time to close the shop friends we talked next day I departured my friend. That is too long story even we are going well. If you still feel lonely be my friend as you give more value to friendship I respect you.

It sounds like you are very excited about your blooming friendship with this man. He may feel the same for you, you will never know until the subject is out in the open. I do understand that you are just happy with the friendship, who knows...it may bloom into a romance!
