I am going to live to be 125!!

I too would love to live that long, so long as i was self-sufficient. But if the world is "doomed" like they say it will be, then i don't think my old age will be happy and healthy.

well pal I hope you do make it , when I was young there were no TV's or PC's so what is going tohappen in the futute I would love to see too , you have more chance than Ihave though lol xxxx

I used to want to live long. Like to 100. I used to have a fire for life. I miss that. As I get older, I find myself changing my mind. I am grateful that I made it through yesterday. It would be nice if I get through today. Completing this week will be an accomplishment. I have been very depressed lately so my current outlook is gloomy. There are days I wonder why I bothered to wake up. I am hoping this mood passes soon cause it is starting to wear on my patience. Everyone goes through "down periods" in their lifetime and I am hoping this is mine. Those who know me through my writings have come to know that I have a tendancy to cover my true emotions with humor. Thank the Lord for friends who can read between the lines. They give me hope and inspiration. They send me really neat emails and post beautiful pics on my profile. So if you ask me today how old I want to live to.........my answer would have to be.....uh, tomorrow. How long I will actually live is up to God, not me.

Perhaps you can put it in a time capsule and bury it under a tree, leave a will for your dependents and let them discover your "treasure" :P I WILL live up to that age ONLY when I have no money and health problems. I would not want to live up to that age and ended up becoming a burden to my dependents, the society or whoever takes pity on me and take me in.

I don't know what age I want to live to but I do know that there is always something else being developed or invented and one more thing you want to help your kids with! Guess I would be satisfied if I were around to see my kids settled and happy - then I would be able to go without a struggle...or would I? xxxx

I'd like to live long enough to make a good and lasting contribution to this world. So far I haven't done that (unless you count myLot posts as such LOL) and I haven't got a clue as to what it is and how I'm going to do it. Meanwhile, I just live one day at a time. That's all most of us can do anyway.

Well Sweetie I am so glad that you can be so Optimistic lol I really can not say how long I want to live I certainly would not like to be here in so many years without my Family, my Man and my Friends no I want them all to be with me and if they would live that long to then ok but if not then I would rather be with them

As long as I live until I am 80 or so I'll be happy. Of course I'd like to live longer then that if I can and am still pretty much self efficient. But as long as I actually get to 80 or even there about and am healthy happy then I'll be very happy.

Wow--- I’ve never really thought about how long I will love- I hope I live long enough to meet my great-great- grandchildren- : ) My daughter is 10 now- and I’m 34- I can honestly say I don’t want to live to 125 – not unless I’m healthy as a horse and very active- I don’t want to have people take care of me-

well i hope to live till at least 100 years old as this age is becoming old and i will of seen enough in life by then

I tell my kids that I'm going to live to be 120. Then I tell them that means when they are 85 and 90, they'll have to take care of me!

I haven't thought about living that long but sure it will be great to see what the world would be like at 2090. There's no telling how long I will live hope I can make it past 90 so if I can make it past 90 then I can do it to 125 too! Just have to think positive not negetive and not have to hear what other people are saying like oh we are so crazy to think that we can live that long like you said that is your target and hope that you do make it. As a matter of fact I am kinda scared of growing old and wrinkle but that's life!

As long as I was active and stuff, I would love to live that long. I could see my grandkids and great grandkids and share a lot of history with them. How do you think you will live that long?

Ick :S I wish you all the luck! Not downing on you but I don't want to live NEAR that long unless there are some "movie-like" advances in technology that keep me looking/feeling good. I don't mean disrespect but "old people" just have this....odor IMO. I couldn't handle it knowing that when I get to a certain age there will be people just like I am now thinking the same thing about me. (did that even make sense?) I love all the little old folks that are all active and bouncy and happy...but from a distance, they make me kind of nervous although not as nervous as the drooly ones do. The maximum average was +80 in my family. I like to live longer and more active, not on bed that some one have to take care of me. I can observe the developing world.

I would love to live long and hopefully have a better 40 next years than the ones I already have lol. I do hope that you reach your goal and may God help you live to be even more than that and super healthy. I think I need to start doing more Tai Ji again and get back into being more healthy. I spend too much time online but I can't go out to get a regular job due to my situation.

Oh my, I'm away for a month or so and come back to something as heavy as this.... Honestly I have no idea but I've always told the kids I was going to live forever so I could drive them crazy like they have me :) Right now I'm in great health though and although don't dream of 100 I do think I'll live long and like you sis be active.

Way to go!! Personally, I wouldn't want to live that long b/c of the way the world is turning. Things are nothing like when I was a kid and to be honest, I feel bad for the kids today that have to grow up in this world. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Hi Snow! Good luck with reaching 125. I'll probably make it into my 90s as I'm fairly healthy and active. I would like to be fully in control to the end and would only want to get any older if they didn't change - I don't want to get senile and need to be looked after all the time.

I too want to live long and live in good health. The most important thing is to live in good health. If I am not in good health and have to be taken care of at that old age, I'd rather die earlier. Now I'm in good health and I'm optimistic, my only bad habbit is smoking. I think I can live to be over 100!
