HI & HELLO, ASHJOE76;
Yea...I've just had my close up to your uploaded photo, but the leaves have had so many "leaf spot" and spoiled by insects. Good thing to have it because its colorful. And what kind of leaves were that?, I mean the name of that plant?.
Regarding leaves, I would like to have green leaf. Because its good to look at it after long hours at computer. The greenery that soothe my eyeballs and I've learned that our eyeballs will be feeling good once looking at green leaf and some sort of medication to our eyes.
The greenery of leaf, of course there is chlorophyll value in there. Which is very important to our body to have appropriate value or level of chlorophyll. The intense color of chlorophyll suggests that it may be useful as a commercial pigment. In fact, chlorophyll a is a green dye used in soaps and cosmetics.

Thanks friend, for your informative response. The leaves belong to a simple croton plant. I have a lot of them at home, with different colours. The leaves in the picture are eaten by caterpillars, and I loved the way it was, you know, worts and all. I agree with you that green leaves have a soothing effect on our eyes, espeically after long hours in front of the pc screen. Here is a snap of my favourite shade of green leaves just sprouting.

Hi, friend, your leaves are very attractive. Do you know what kind of a plant they are on? I do not know for sure, myself, but would like to, if you know. Otherwise I will probably try to look it up this weekend. Nice to see you around.
