Do you have those days when you find yourself unable to make a response?

Because sometimes there are days that I really can't think of any good ideas to put in my response. Like today. First, I tried to give comments on those who responded on my discussions, to keep the discussion more interesting. An exhange of opinions and views. But, after only giving a few of those comments, I started having a hard time to focus and think on what I have to say. So, I started looking at other discussions. Hoping that I'll find interesting ones. And I did. I saw several but when I tried to respond to it, I can't think of the right words to say. And so, I've been sitting here infront of the computer for the past hour, still trying to give a good response. But still, nothing. I even had a snack, thinking, maybe I just need to stop for awhile and refocus. But, still nothing. So, I guess, I have to stop for today. Give my brain some re-wiring. But I did enjoy just reading some discussions. And some that I have read were like watching a boxing match! It can never get too boring here if we just dig deeper for those discussions.

Hello GRANDPA BOB! I hope you'll have more days that will make you contribute more. As for me, I've been on a row now without any ideas how to give a good response. It still eludes me and I do hope that I can feel again those days that I'm just so full of things to say that makes a lot of sense.

I get like that too sometimes. When I get like that I just get off and stay off for a while. Then usually when I come back I can read something and come up with some response.

I know what you mean. There's no use trying to come up with something to say when we're sure it won't come out good anyway. I try to avoid that.

Oh yes, definitely! Sometimes I just can't write anything even if there is something interesting for me to talk about. It's like I can't gather my brain, my language skills and my hand to work together at the same time. Usually on those days, I would just call for an early day on mylot and move onto to do something else. Otherwise, I would just find myself sitting here and staring at the discussions.

Yes, we basically do the same thing. When the brain stops going, the eyes still keeps on moving. LOL. Sometimes even if we want to spend more time Mylotting, our brain just completely surrenders from hours of thinking of something to say.

Hey jcj. I also have the same experience. You are not alone here, hehe. When I get tired and sleepy, I find it hard for me to concentrate on giving any responses to discussions. I think that it is very normal to have this case happen as our brain is overused, I guess. Hope that you will have a much fresher mind after a good sleep, friend. Good night.

When I am overusing my mind, I can do a good job responding to discussions because I have always so many emails coming each day. Right now I have 861 mylotting emails informing me about the discussions started by my friends. I am so happy that I can choose good ones that I can relate to or that can interest me, but I am also sorry that I won't be able to respond to them all as there are too many discussions. Anyway I will leave them there for me to respond to one by one when I am free, especially on my day off. Thanks for your response, jcj.

That's way lot of emails!^_^ Well, goodluck to you for handling most of them. As for me, I'm trying my best to give back comments for those who have responded to my discussions. When I'm done with it, I'll go to the other discussions and hope that I'll finally be able to make sense when I do make a response.Good day!

Hello william! You are so right. Being tired and too drowsy can really be a royal hindrance. It's really hard to think straight when we're already getting cross-eyed from drowsiness. LOL. I took a few days off from my normal Mylotting. I do check in from time to time, try it out if I can give a good response, browse and read some discussions and if there's still nothing, I have no choice but to shut down my computer and do something worthwhile.

I really need to take a whole day off once in a while... I always want my responses to be fresh, not just repeats of the same old things. That takes some fast thinking around here, so a pause to refresh is necessary! Take care.

Hi alamode. I did that day-off this afternoon. I went to the mall, just myself, without my husband and son and just enjoyed the entire time at the mall. Hopefully, I can think of something worthwhile now. If not, then I'll go out again tomorrow.LOL

I'm doing just that today... I've been making so many responses that the brain is drained! Considering the people I'll be with, it could get interesting around my discussions!!LOL! In or out, have a good day!

Oh, I completely understand how you feel!LOL. Too many responses equals to too weary a brain. There was a time that I really wanted to still do more even if my head was begging for me to rest. I had to read the response that I made several times, had to edit it too, before submitting it. Well, when that's what's happening already, it only means that I need to stop.

Sometimes I just can't think of anything to say or anything to contribute. And some discussions do turn into arguments, or seem to be too sad, or just don't relate to anything I know. It's always interesting to read, though/

Hello cute. I agree with on on some discussions that can be pretty interesting. And it's disappointing to only realize that even if we want to contribute something to that very good discussion, bam! we can't think of anything. And it's totally frustrating.

I also have times like those, so I just log in and check how my discussions' are doing. Somtimes I also log in, hoping that my mood would change. But none-the-less, my mind just won't cooperate with my fingers!;) So I just try to take some time off, a day would be good enough for me (I believe)!LoL I can't just leave and stay away of mylot for a long time, my day is not complete you know!;)

Hi there raijin! I think most Mylotters feel the same way. There are just those days that we can't think of something good to say. Because I truly believe that if we can't contribute anything at all that makes sense, then we shouldn't push ourselves.

That happens to me a lot. Sometimes, I skip days or weeks at a time from being here because I just don't have the motivation, or I just can't find anything good to reply on. That, or I just can't find the words to reply to anything. So, I just skip coming here al together for a few days and see where I end up later on.

Hi there. You're right, when there's no motivation, it's really hard to come up with something good to say. With me, I'm having some difficulty these past few days with Mylotting. My mind is just a total blank. But I do find several very good discussions that I really want to respond to.

Hi there, well sometimes it is happening to me, and sometimes i tend to be mentally blacked! Maybe, it really depends on the mood of our day. But i always set my mind, and focus myself for some goals that i have to do here in mylot. Like my goal this month, my goal this month is to earn more than what i've earned last month, which is almost $20.. So now, my goal is to earn more than $25 this month and wish me luck buddy! Have a nice day ahead from Kiko and happy posting and happy earning here in MyLot.

Hi there. Goodluck in your monthly goal! When there are just some things that are too distracting, it really gets hard to keep focus and to expect ourselves to give a very good response.

It sure does get hard to anwer something when we're not familiar with the topic of discussion. And like you, I have those days that I just can't think of a single topic to post for discussion.

Yup, I guess these things really happen and I must admit it happened to my for quite some time. Given that I have been busy these past few weeks, I really had no time to spare to visit mylot. But then before things got really busy at work, I have been feeling really 'bored' with mylot. I would visit mylot and find myself not as interested to give responses as I did when I was a newbie. I felt that nothing new is really happening not to mention that my earnings were getting lesser and lesser. So I decided to lay low for a while. Then things got busy and its only now that I get to visit mylot again. I'm not as enthusiastic as before but I'm picking up so I guess I will get back to my usual active mylot self in time:P cheers!

Hi mari. Don't worry you'll get your enthusiasm back in no time. Distractions can be a real hindrance when we try to make some time here at Mylot. And as we all know, the better the responses that we make, the more we make earnings. I guess getting some time off Mylotting has its advantages. To freshen up our minds.

I don't usually have trouble responding because of me, in my opinion, the trouble usually lies in the discussion/responder themselves. Sometimes I read a discussion and it sounds good until I get to the nitty gritty of it and then it's a completely different thing than I thought or it's a lot longer than I thought. I usually just end up not responding. Sometimes I'll save it for later and if I read it again later and still can't figure out anything to say...then I just don't answer or whatever.

Hi raychill. I do the same thing too sometimes. I go back for some discussions and ponder over them for a while. I guess I'm too distracted these past few days with lots of things in my mind. And I find myself having a difficult time trying to focus on what I'm doing when I'm here.

So far so good. Never fail to make responding unless there were irrelevant discussions then I have to pass-up. As for example if the discussion about like this way; "how do you feel the pressure in the labor room while giving birth?". ha ha ha..I'm a man...!!!!

Yes I have those days as well. I just don't push it when I do, I just have to, like you, set back and enjoy good reads for the day. Normally that happens then the next day I am on the ball again. I reckon I just get so much on my mind from things out side mylot and there just isn't any room for any thing else. LOL

Hello there sunshine! Sometimes when I read other discussions, it helps me relax because there are some that are so interesting that I'm glued in my seat! It's like watching a boxing match! Like you, when I'm distracted over something and I still haven't done anything about it, no matter how many minutes I stare at a discussion, and no matter how much I want to respond to it, my mind is a total blank.

Yes, some time it was happened. But the lack of time was the reason. What you are talking is the blankness of getting right words at right time! Or say some thing lacking in mind to get the expressive language! Well such time I remember in creative writing... I mean some time I have faced this kind of thing while writing poem, story, and novel! But in general it is not happened as I remember! But do you know at that time READING is the right way because creativity some time needs a good creative touch!

Hello healwell. Sometimes, that happens to me, too. It really is pretty difficult to think of something of good ideas for a response, but when under time pressure, that is a big challenge. Now, you gave the perfect term for it. The total blankness! I do agree with you that through reading we can pick up new ideas and information that our tired "brain" needs.

Lol, I have days where I have nothing to say about any discussion! When this happens I just shutdown my computer and give myself time to think. I think the discussions on Mylot are interesting somedays and other days just silly, so I have been having a difficult time! But I come back the next morning fresh and ready to go!

Hi there kitty! You're absolutely right about the part where there are days that there is simply nothing to say. Because like you, I go for a day or two that I can't still think of anything good to put in my response. And shutting down the computer is the next resort!lol

That's good that you really enjoy your stay here at MyLot and that you're gaining new friends. But in my case, I always make sure that what I post is clear and will be understood by everyone who might get to read it. It will be just a waste of time and space to post responses that doesn't even make any sense at all.
