A Question for Authors/writers?

I am a writer in need of some advice. I have a very demanding childcare home, I home school my daughters, and I am trying to build a writing career. A very demanding life indeed. I am also a single mother. My dream is to be and author. I have a quarterly publication that I publish, as well as two mini weeklies. These two are online, the forst is not. I would like to know how everyone who currently writes finds time to do so. How do you make time for this? It is not likely that I can go to bed later than my teenagers, as they are up pretty late. And I already get up earlier than I care to for work. I am a person who needs at least 8 hours of sleep to truly function, though I rarely ever get that much. What time management tactics do you all use?

Marciaj said it all. I have a hectic life too, so I carve out at least 1/2 before the kids are up to write. I am also trying to be flexible since schedule seems to change without notice. If I am not willing to be flexible, I will definitely stress out to the max, then I can't function. Even if you can write a paragraph a day, do it, by the end of the week, you might have yourself a page/article. Happy writing to you!

Thank you. I would like to try for atleast a page a day on the three day schedule that I just created. I will see how that works.

I am in college at the moment and it is incredibly hard for me to write and get published because of it. All I can say is keep writing when you can and hope for the best.

Here I can put a short list for you: Dont do rush job, keep yourself for things do be done for real happening. Take rest enough and dont compromise with that. When you get real time then start writing drcidrd prior and clearly! Or say write those things which are easy and understood well by you! A good writer always writes what s/he wants to write clearly, nothing else! Writing and earning both are involved togather then be selective about subjects and choose first as pror and then acordingly downline process must be followed! Self discipline and self esteem helps a writer as a backbone so please let it be with you! Thanks...
