My home was this morning will my 3yr old daughter, sister, and myself was home sleeping. The come through my bathroom window on the 1st floor, they took the window frame off the window.
They went into my son's room stole his PSP, PSP games, Xbox, the controller, and the games, his wallet that had like $4.00 and some change.
Then they went into my livingroom stole my hubby's Viao, 180 something PS2 games, a bunch of wires(phone chargers) and they left my house go my back door and went over the fence behind my house.
The police came and fingerprintered my house and discovered they most of been wearing gloves because they couldn't pick any finger prints.
I was so so so mad because I was here in my home and I didn't hear a thing. The bustard had the nerve to peek in my sister's room when she was sleeping. That is how she woke up.
But around 1:45pm the officer called me and told me to come to the police department and see if we can identify any of our things and the person. Unfortunely we didn't know the person(but the police officers knew him and someone else who house he broke into to the police that they better find him before he did). We was able to identify all our stuff expect for a couple of my hubby's games.

Oh how horrible! That's terrible! But I'm darned glad to hear none of you were hurt! Thank goodness this jerk wanted the material things instead of you all in any way. Can I make a suggestion? My husband and I made a pact that when we close a window it gets locked. That way we'll sure to be as safe as we can be. However when a window is left open, uh, there isn't a way to lock it but maybe a boobie trap is in order? Maybe you and your husband could come up with something pretty simple so it won't become such a chore at night. I love my windows open on a cool night. To have the windows closed all the time is insane for I feel so trapped but when they're opened, I feel like I can fly. Silly isn't it?

I can't believe that anyone would be so bold as to do that with ppl in the house. It's a good thing all they did was take things and leave...it could have been much worse. Congrats on getting your stuff back.

Oh my god. See thats what I'm talking about. People just think they can do whatever they want these days. Around here they knock on your door and bust into your home. It's sad what the world has come to these days. well we have your usual break-ins. Not to mention car break-ins as well. I'm glad everyone is ok though. I'm sure it will take sometime for your family to feel safe again.
