It's Just Not Right!

Hello! I do completely understand what you're feeling grandpa bob as I do that too from time to time, and imagine i'm just a newbie here. There are days that I don't post any discussion and can only make 1-2 comments, there are days that i'm logged on but read only discussions. Reasons are because i'm busy with my work and I guess my life is boring that nothing interesting to share with. People do need a break may it be from anything. I like myLot and people like you grandpa bob who makes interesting discussions or who shares their lives here are the reasons why i'm staying here. Enjoy your timeoff here in myLot grandpa bob. Don't worry we'll all be here when you get back...eventhough I don't comment in your discussions, I do enjoy reading them and looking forward to them everyday. I'll miss you grandpa bob and the rest of myLot community. But do come back ASAP! *hehehehe* okidoki? Take care...

Hold the door open for me Grandpa Bob, lately I have only been here to answer 1 or 2 discussion, my heart just is not in it anymore, perhaps a few days off would do a wonder of good. Take care, my friend!

I hope your hiatus isn't too long. I've found lately that I only answer a few discussions in a day now. I just don't have the time or inclination to sift through the bizillion useless topics that I have no interest in.

I think we all get like that sometimes. Just take a break and come back whenever you feel like you want to. We'll miss you while you're gone. Have a great day.

It's that "Lag time" of the year for me, too! :) I know that I need a break, and the more that I resist, the more pronounced the need becomes... the heatwaves and high humidity really sapped my strength this year, so the moment that it turns cool- I know I'm going away for a bit- perhaps to a beach in the middle of the week, and sit my butt on a rock and do nothiing! :) Have a great break, and enjoy yourself- you deserve it, Dude!

*nods* I've felt that way before, and taking a little break always helped me out! As much as I like mylot, there are some days that it just doesn't interest me, and sometimes I find myself frustrated over it. But I always wind up coming back eventually. I am amazed, you are a high poster. Some nights I come in from work and want to post and relax...and I get disappointed because my favorite way to find is discussion is using my friends discussion...so I come home and what do I see - discussions that I already answered. Some of them 2 and 3 months earlier. They need a better way to display discussions, I should not keep seeing ones that I already answered.

I get that way too. Just take your time and come back when you feel you want to. I can't find the inspiration for much around the internet anymore. I don't know, it all seems old and mundane. We'll see ya when you get back Grandpa Bob !!

Hi there Grandpa Bob! I wanna say thank you for the responses you made in my discussions, and one of my discussion that talks about my boredom here in mylot yesterday. But i am doing good now, and i am still active here in Mylot. Maybe, we are just having a lack of exercise due to always glued in front of our computer and so, we forgot to do some exercise. Doing some exercise can boost up our energy Grandpa Bob, and so if we do that, we can have more positive thoughts here in mylot and good mood as well. That's one I felt before when I'm not here for almost a week I feel bored and I tried there's no thoughts get into my mind then how can I response. I don't like short responses as much as possible I want to respond many sentences as I can. That's why I took a break also. Anyway grandpa have a nice day...

Oh! Its so sad to hear this from a friend like you. I wasn't here for last few days as I was out for Scotland trip and had a great time. But today I back and thought of seeing ll of you and specially the grat psots from friend like you, I hope you will come back soon an mae me feel better, seeing any frind leaving hearts me very much

Well, i felt like that a while ago, and i took about a month off (from my emails and all! in fact from my pc!) and now i feel much better, the discussions have all changed and i have some ideas for my own discussions so it done me a power of good. Mylot is great, but it is like everything else too much of it can be sickening - Play a game, surf the net, look at (your fav) sports sites, read a bit, review some things just take a good break, you'll be glad you did gramdpa bob. Enjoy yourself.

I know how you feel.I have seen times when i would just log on and not even post 1 thing.Mylot just isnt the same as before.I see myself taking a break at times coming back after a few days as well.

Hope you are back fairly soon Bob. I understand the need for a break. Sometyimes I get like that. At the moment I can't do much at all, as my computer is bogged down.

i do know how you feel on this one. i only post when i feel compelled to do so. which isn't very often and which is why i haven't even reached my first payout. i've been at $9.75 for about two months. i actually came on the other day and got it up to $9.85. though i feel the itch to get to that payment i just can't make myself sit and post when my heart isn't into it. enjoy your break and we will all rejoice in your return because your writing is always so entertaining and heart felt.

hello grandpa bob, i understand what you mean, sometimes we come to the point that we lose interest in answering discussions or posting our own discussion specially if you've been doing this for a long time.
