Losing weight too fast.

This past week, I haven't been feeling so good, so I'm not eating well. And, I've noticed that I'm starting to lose some weight as a result. And, even though I'd like to lose weight, I don't want to lose the weight too fast and get sick. In the past this has happened before, with the rapid weight loss and ultimately, I bounce back by regaining all the weight. So, I'm not looking forward to doing that again. Is there a limit on how much weight one person should lose in a week's time?

I did that once and it came back really fast and to a great extent it came back as fat instead of muscle. I am sure you have seen that most experts recommend no more than two pounds of weight loss per week for good health.

I recently came accross information on weight loss,just take close to 10 glasses of ice cold water a day and eat food with high chilly content. The cold water will make you eat less, and the chilly will burn off any lingering fats-you will see the results instantly in one month

They say it's not healthy to lose or gain more then two pounds a week. It's a bummer when you want to see results fast, but in the long run it works out well. You know how the experts are and everybody's body is different, but around that number is what you probably want to shoot for. :)

Ummm I'm not sure, maybe from a 1-2 pounds a week is healthy. I would love it if I could lose more than that a week LOL

I think it's better not to loose more then 2 o 3 kg in a month.Loosing weight fastly is never a good idea because your skin could suffer and form stretch marks and the kilos lost are taken on again quickly.

Hello beautyqueen26, First of all, I hope you are back to normal by now. Once, after taking diet pills, I lost some weight in a month. It was almost 10kg and I was very happy though I knew it is not a good sign. But right after I stopped taking the pills, my appetite started to be amazingly better and I put on more weight than before. I just trying to lose weight by going to the gym thrice a week now. I hope I can maintain my weight and don't have to stress myself so much about getting fat and trying to lose weight again.

I was wondering the same thing. I've been watching Biggest Loser and they lose an amazing amount in a week.... Is it really healthy? Last season the drs. did say the contestants were much healthier at their last check ups, reduced the number of meds. they had to take. Maybe you can take some vitamins to help you get back to feeling good? I've been having the same problem. lol I was hoping maybe it would help the last 15 lb. go away.
