Disagreements over pizza toppings

I love chicken pizza, but my spouse loves bacon pizza. And that usually means we'll end up getting two very expensive pizzas and spending way over $20 for one day's worth of food, with lots of bad tasting left overs. And, most days that's not in our budget. So, instead of ordering two separate pizzas, often we will order just one pizza with different toppings on each side. That way my spouse gets his favorite toppings and I get mine. Most times we put bacon, ham and pepperoni on his half of the pizza and chicken, mushrooms and onions on mine. It's like getting two pizzas for the price of one. It's a real money saver just getting one pizza. Most times we get by paying less than $15.00. Do you ever put different toppings on each side of your pizza, so that everyone gets a topping that they really want? What do you put on your half of the pizza? Do you argue over which toppings should go onto the pizza?

Not for us at my house- We all eat the same kind of pizza- I think we just adapted to each others liking- Mushrooms, pepperoni and lots of cheese. Even my daughter loves mushrooms- We also order on Tuesdays so it is buy a large for the price of a small- so it’s always under $10! Yahoo---- When we make home made pizza- we always make them the way we want them – I like ham, peppers, onions, mushrooms, -- daughter doesn’t like all that so hers is different- and Sig. other likes hot peppers and other nasty things- : ) So we buy lots of toppings and doctor each section up!

I've actually never had an argument with anyone about pizza toppings. Generally if me and someone else want different toppings, we automatically go with half and half or 2 pizzas. With my son there's always automatically pepperoni on any pizza I order -- it's the only topping he eats.

When we eat pizzas it is either at a buffet or it is a homemade pizza. I like it both ways because I can get what I like, and so can hubby. At the buffets I can get a little pasta as well. My husband does not even want pasta in the house. I like the chicken, mushroom and onion one really well. I also like spinach with alfredo sauce and onions and mushrooms.

We don't argue with that because we like all flavors of pizza. Anyways, you are both smart about to save money and get what flavor you want instead of buying both of your whole pizza flavor.

I'm lucky, my boyfriend doesn't really complain about what I feed him, just as long as he's fed. The only time he complains is when it comes to spaghetti because that's his favorite.

We usually just go ahead and get two pizzas. They are cheaper if you order them that way, and my husband can eat half a pizza in one sitting without a problem. If we order two pizzas, we can eat the leftovers the next day, and I don't have to cook lunch or breakfast. My husband likes supreme pizza best, but I don't like onions, peppers or olives. So I usually get something else. Sometimes meat lovers with mushrooms, or sometimes chicken and mushrooms. My husband usually eats the entire supreme pizza, but sometimes my son will have one slice. My husband also usually ends up eating part of the other pizza that we order, too, just because he eats so much more than I do.
