When you have to type and you have a bandage on one or more of your fingers, does your typing suffer much? Does it make a difference which finger is injured?
I am glad typing is so much easier now and that I don't have to open the white out or get out an eraser, or find a strip of correction tape when I make typing mistakes. I have a bandage on the end of my left index finger at the moment and I have been hitting multiple keys this evening. :)

What did we do before word processing on computers came along. I remember term papers, and what a pain it was to get them into the approved format. I cn feature the multiple keystrokes that you are experiencing. Are they correct at least a third of the time? Hope your finger gets to feeling better really soon.

Thanks GardenGerty. Luckily it's not that bad and much easier to correct. :)

My sympathies...
When I was a professional typesetter, way back when, I managed to put quite a gash in my right thumb, right about where it hits the space bar... For the longest time I had to use my left thumb to hit the space bar. Then there was the time my left pinkie got stung by some insect and swelled up to resemble a cocktail sausage... That was fun, too.

Ouch! Those both sound much worse than my broken fingernail. The bandage was just to serve as a sort of bumper pad as the nail broke back into the nailbed. I clipped it off but couldn't pull it the rest of the way off as it was headed further back into the nailbed. :o

I've had that happen, too, so know how annoying it can be.

If you have a bandage in your finger of course it can affect your typing job, it is not that easy to type with bandage on your finger cause you hit multiple keys. But if you are that good in typing i guess it won't be too much of a problem and you can just handle it. :)
