Well, as you know, it's been a pretty harrowing eight or nine days, but with the amazing support of all my friends, and certain positive happenings, I am back, to take your hands and lead you on some of my walks, again!
I would just like to thank all of my lovely friends, for their special words, thoughts, prayers and loyalty. It all helped me a long way to getting back my spirit. You all know my beliefs, but I have to tell you, I've been to a Church of England service, AND a Catholic service in the past week, just out respect to those who commanded the service but it's all a learning process. I didn't pray or sing, but I took note of the different styles of worship, whilst noticing their similarity. We're all the same, my friends... brothers and sisters who have similar beliefs, yet slightly different in areas.
Brightest Blessings to all of you, whatever your race, creed or religion. Spread the light and live in peace.

No, I was christened into the Church of England as a baby, but changed my path later, so I already know a good deal about the Christian beliefs. As for the Catholic church, it was my second ever visit, the previous one being some 40 years or so ago.
I compare bible stories to other things I read, and in some instances they are teaching similar lessons, but there are variations as in everything I suppose. I do, however, treat the Bible as a book of fables if you like. I don't relate them to one superior being, as I don't believe this exists. I believe in a number of powers coming together to form the energies of the Universe. I hope that answers your question, as I find it difficult to put into writing. I could talk to you for hours on it, but there lies a different tale. lol.
Brightest Blessings my dear friend. xx

Yes I think I understand what you are saying. I was Baptized into the MOrman Church when I was 9.
was a year late for Ihad tonsils taking out when I was 8. and thats what they do wait till you are 8 to baptize you . Dont know why.
I always have said the bible is written by man and the history of man , but their years must of been a month long to live as long as it says.
I have gone to a wedding in the Catholic church didnt understand a word as it was done in Latin and took an hour that was way back in the 50s. and have attended other churches what I gathered the are all basicly the same just a twist here and there.
I go along with your discription of the energies and gather ing of things to beleive in power and energies coming together

O my how heart breaking for you.
As I have never been to a burial in that kind of church I am not sure about the bell ringing and all But I really dont see that they help to ring the soul to heaven this way.
THe ones I have atteneded have been prayers songs and a eulogy more music and then prayer at the grave site.
Al tho I dont like to stay around the grave long . we used to go back on what we call decorationg day and in Tenn. each county have a different Sunday for that put flowers on the graves of our people then look around at the others we have known and visit with other people that are there we also used to have a picnic there where every one brought something and would spread it out and eat and visit more like a town get together now they dont do it any more for mostly the older ones are gone on to the other side
Yes a quite place to go talk to them and say what we want to say to them . Like me talking to my hubby every night.
HUgs and blessing and hope you are doing OK now

Thank you Weemam. We all find the need to go there at times, and find the reason why. I'm not completely out of the woods yet, but I'm finding the going much easier and much more heartening. I'm finding my smooth stretch of path.
Thank you for your support, my dear friend. Hope you and yours are well and Brightest Blessings on you all. xx

We all have souls that need to be fed, and led. We are glad you are back. I hope you have found your way through your personal dark journey. Good Morning and Good Sunday to you. I am ready for a walk or something that will increase my peace. I find I am having a nostalgic longing for. . . something, and I do not know what, but it is a place of peace when I get there. For me it comes with the shortening days of fall, and of my life. We need to all be engaged in things of worth that rest our spirit.

Yes, we do all have souls that need to be fed and led, Gerty. You're quite right. As for your nostalgic longing, I daresay you'll find out soon enough what it's for. lol. It sounds like a dose of the blues to me, so I'll have to tell you about my Sunset walk along the undercliff walk. That'll maybe take the blues away for a while.
Brightest Blessings my friend and thank you for your support.

Awwwww, thank you for your beautiful words, MsTickle. Could you have been reading, perchance? :) Yes, my time out was beneficial to me. I had a lot of time to wander and think and I feel a deal better for it. Thank you for standing beside me, in spirit. I value and appreciate your friendship, as well as all the other lovely people I've met in here. I believe that all things happen for a reason; hence we were all drawn together here, in Mylot.
Brightest Blessings back on you my dear friend, in accepting yours to me. Take care, and have a great day! x

They are getting better, MrsBrian, and hopefully will continue to do so. It did me good taking some time out, and things started coming back together again. LOL, @ "on with the show", but I guess that's a good way of looking at it!
Brightest Blessings.

Hi Darkwing...
Haven't been Mylotting as much the last few days but wanted to check in and see if you were back. Good to know you are and that your world is feeling a little brighter these days. I read over your discussion and your chats with all those who responded.
I so agree with you that we our races, creeds, cultures and religions are not reasons to separate within polarized thinking..but hopefully bring us together. Most great religions speak of the importance of love and how it heals all things. Those of us who truly believe that focus on our similarities rather than our differences.
My Mom always said that the outer form does not determine who we are because we all bleed the same color on the inside. Her wonderful wisdom also included the understanding that the energy with in Inner Essence do create a One Song if we can allow ourselves to hear it and know it.
So whenever I participate in religious ceremonies that are not part of my spiritual framework it is not something that creates duality because of the way I was raised. It is a delightful to have you point it out once again in your inimitable way. You certainly do your part to spread the light and live in peace and many of us know it and support you with similar goals.
Blessings to you and yours,
Raia

Awwww, thank you for checking me out, Perspectives. I've still been a bit busy with darts stuff but almost done now... only the result cards to go and everything to deliver and then it'll be off to darts. The first game's on my birthday, believe it or not, but it is a home game, in the local pub so should be fun.
Your Mom was certainly a wise lady, and if the two of us end up like she, we will know we have reached our Crone status in accumulating a vast amount of wisdom and knowledge which we can pass on to others, to light them on there way. :)
Brightest Blessings, love and light to you and your hubby, in hoping that you're recovering some from your own recent disappointments, my dear Soul Sister.

I love your last quote- "spread the light and live in peace"
I wish everyone of us really would spread the light..I can imagine how the world will be so beautiful if all of us lives in the light that has been spread off by some good souls.
Welcome back my dear and thank you for spreading lights here in mylot!

Well, Cefaz, as I see it, there's no harm in being amongst those who do spread the light and live in peace and harmony. The World would be so much more calm and pleasant to live in if we all had good souls. But, I don't think we will ever see complete light over this land, more's the pity.
Thank you for your support my friend, and the welcome back. You're much welcome to my thoughts and words, and indeed, my Brightest Blessings. May your path through life always be lit by the eternal light, so you may walk in peace and harmony. :)

Thank you for your wishes Kay and your welcome back.. both are much appreciated. Yes, I know you love to come along on the walks, sitting with your feet up... he he he. But, never mind, that I can convey in words the wonders of my life and being at one with nature, is something that pleases me. I'm overawed sometimes, at the response. One poor friend gets a bit frustrated because he doesn't know how to respond, but he always reads, and that's what matters. It matters not how he responds as long as I can put some light and warmth into his, and all my friends' hearts.
Brightest Blessings... hope all's going well with the little lady! x
