If you don't remember, he is James Brolin. Hubby was telling me he caught a blurb on fox news. Apparently, Brolin was on an interview show on last Tuesday...9/1l. The interviewer, part of the way into the discussion asked did Brolin realize it was the anniversary of 9/11? He said, "Is it? Well, happy 9/11" and then he kind of laughed afterwards. Happy 9/11? what is up with that? How stupid and unfeeling can you get? Did you hear about this?

I didn't hear about it until just now, but that is indicative of how out of touch a lot of celebrities are.
Yet they always have some political or social agenda that they are trying to push, and a lot of people believe everything they say because they are on TV and therefore couldn't possibly be wrong.

I think brolin is getting senile to a degree...A lot of things he says don't make sense but i think it is some type of a health issue,rather than an uncaring thing...He has lapses and stuff...I think he has been like this for some time,but it has not been made public as yet....I really don't think he meant that ,he probably realized what he said afetr the fact,and what else could he do but laugh after that stupid statement...He could have confessed about his condition ,but i suppose he took the easy way out...

I have watched him for quite some time now and you can tell he is having some type of memory problem...I could tell by the way president Reagan was acting that he had a problem,before it was announced...Micheal j. Foxx is another one that i could tell..if you watch them closely it is very clear..You just pay close attention and it is something you sense...If you do not believe me just wait and it will come out sooner or later...

I had not heard of this before now. What an idiot if it is true! I've heard some bad things about Striesand and how she hates Pres. Bush and things like that, so if he's married to her no telling what will come out of his mouth. I used to like him as an actor on Marcus Welby, MD and on Hotel years ago, but hadn't heard much about him since he married her.

So, it's a bad thing that Barbra hates Bush? Gee, I guess I'm a REALLY bad person...lolSeriously, I do find these comments very surprising and I can't help but think there must be something more to it, something we're just not getting here. I couldn't stand Bush before 9/11 and I really despise him now but right after it happened I supported him along with most of the world. The attacks of 9/11 should transcend all political beliefs, it happened to America and Americans.

I think you should read the entire discussion and responses before making comments. I don't care if you or she or anyone hates Bush, and it was never said that it didn't happen to all Americans. I don't like Striesand anymore b/c she uses her celebrity to preach her political views and it is a turnoff to me. She is not alone, there are several more like her and I personally know people who will not watch any of thier movies nor buy their music. They are entertainers and should just do their job. I don't see where your comments have anything to do with James Brolin making such insensitive comments on 9/11.

What a moron! I am sorry, but how can you not know what the significance of that date means? He can't possibly use the "I didn't know" excuse. The super rich really irritate me sometimes. This just goes to show you how out of the realm or reality some of these wealthy people are. How rude and uncaring.

Hi estherlou! Yes, that is just so unfeeling and so cold. But maybe, he wasn't really thinking straight when he said that, maybe he heard wrong or maybe he has some hearing problem. Maybe, if he realized his blunder he will be soon apologizing. Take care and hoping all those people who were directly affected by 9/ll will find some peace and comfort somehow. God bless.

I didn't find anything about a health condition. He was promoting his newest movie "The Hunting Party.", which I will be certain to not view. I'm not going to watch The American Standards (2007) and Mysterious (2007) either.

What an idiot. I never thought he was that good an actor and obvious he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
How can anyone say something like that? He obviously left the brain in neutral while he was running the mouth. That too is malady common to the rich and famous.

Nope I hadn't heard about this. But how out of touch he is! Not only does 9/11 mean something that terrible happened to our country. But I can look at it as something wonderful as well, since my 1st grand baby was born this day.

Wow! I didn't see the interview or hear about it until now - but that's crazy! Some people are just absolutely clueless and live in their own little bubble. I wonder if he caught on at all after the show?
