Ladies do you wear Lipstick?

I wear it, I am use to wearing it. My lips seem dry with out them. or how about Lip gloss? I was looking and the program today, and they said that lipstick has cayenne pepper in it, I was shocked, why do you suppose they put Cayenne pepper in it? I notice some times my lips would be tingling like I had hot pepper or something, I had notice this for years, but I did'nt know why. Isn't that strange? Have you heard this before? and another thing that long lasting lipstick that stays on a day, it suppose to have Cancer causing agents in them. Ok, I thought I would share this with the Ladies on Mylot. Men read this too, so you can tell your Wifes or Girl-friends about this. Ok, I will chat later.

I use lip stain on my lips and then just apply lip gloss whenever my lips get dry, been doing it this way for years, unsure about lipstick I gave it up when it came off with my meal.

That's funny Lorie, So you don't wear it anymore, I know when I eat something like bread or other food I see the lipstick on My bread or whatever I am eating.

Whiteheather, I don't know about Mylot, but I have read this in Magazines, and read it a few other places, some of these name brand lipsticks. so I can not agree with you. I have heard this before you were born.

I dont wear lipstick really.Maybe on a special occassion.I wear lipgloss almost every singled day.Cayenne pepper,didnt know it was made of that.You learn something new everyday.

Hey Nita, I hope you don't mind me calling you that for short, this one lady here told me she didn't appreciate me calling her her real name so, after that I said I will just say Nita. Hope have you been, yes I heard that on a ommercial, about lipstick. I hear theirs lead in some lipsticks. take some lipstick, put it on back of you hand. mark your hand with it, then take a gold ring and wipe the lipstick with it if it turns black, it has lead in it. someone here told me that. I am going to try it, because I have a lot of lipstick.

Sometimes i wear it. but i 've never heard of it about cayenne pepper. But i don't care about. i wear it, because it makes me to look great or pretty. We are ladies, and all ladies like to be beautiful. it is ok, don't worried about it. If wear lipstick, it will make you happily, don't worry about cayenne pepper or other stuff. Just enjoy it.

I wear lipstick or gloss all the time. the stuff with the pepper is lip plumper made to make your lips look fuller by making them sting and burn a little and having blood rush to the lips. It's harmless.
Regular lipstick and gloss doesn't have Cayenne pepper' in it. You'll know because it really stings. I have used lip plumpers with the pepper in it and it just makes my lips a little fuller for a half an hour. Not really worth the sting.

I didn't know they put Cayenne Pepper in lipstick. At a guess I would say the Cayenne Pepper is possibly to plump lips out a little because it will act as a mild irritant but I'm not sure - it could be something to do with the colour as well. Personally I wear lip gloss more than lipstick because lipstick is a bit more hassle to keep looking ok through the day. I HATE those "last all day" lipsticks - they are so drying I think, my lips just looked horrid when I tried them. I hadn't heard about the cancer causing agents in them but I don't wear them anyway.

i wear lipstick and lip gloss. ^__^ i have a lot of them and it seems i have a collection. LOL i love lipstick that are shiny, those with glitters coz it makes my lips look so alive. ^__^ i use lip gloss when im at house or when im going to the grocery or anywhere not special, just to keep them moist coz they dry easily.
i havent heard about cayenne pepper but i do have heard that some lip gloss and lipstick contain harmful substances. so as much as possible i dont buy lipstick or lip gloss just anywhere. i choose where i buy and the brand coz i want to be careful of my lips. ^__^

I do use both lipsticks and gloss almost all the time. Have not heard much about the cancer causing thing in lipsticks or gloss. But I also feel using these cosmetics make me so much dependent on them. Without these I feel very awkard going out, not because I use heavy makeup or so.

Well, i am not using lipstick! LOL
But my mom and younger sister always does like everyday, even they have no where to go and just staying in the house. LOL
I don't actually know why they are always wearing lipstick as i don't even bother to ask.

I had heard years ago that some cosmetics had a little bit of toxins in them. Not saying cayenne pepper is a toxic, but look for the ingredient uretha or something like that. I rarely use make-up and never wear lipstick. I do however is a lip balm regularly. In fact, I will order about a dozen tubes from my local Avon lady...it is of course Avon's Care Deeply Lip Balm. I love this stuff.

Marcia, I wear the long lastling lipstick that you are talking about, when I do wear lipstick.I only wear it when I go to my friends house. I have never heard of it causing cancer, but if it does, so be it. it seems everyday, we hear of something else causing cancer.If I stopped eating and drinking everything they say causes cancer, I guess i would be skinny by now.

I wear lipstick if I am going somewhere. A really light pink by Avon. I really like it. It goes well with my complexion. If I am staying at home I do not bother wearing lipstick. I do keep Blistex or Chapstick on my lips at all times, though.

I don't wear lipstick or any other make-up at home but If I have to go out then I wear lipstick because my lips tend to look pale especially during cold weather. I've heard about that, I guess it depends on the lipstick ingredients. We should really be careful in choosing our lipsticks' brand.

no i don't use lipsticks, i only apply lip balm to keep it soft and not chappy.. but im glas that i have a color red lips eventhough i don't use any lipsticks on it..

I do not wear lipstick. I hate the taste of it and I don't like how it looks on me. Once in awhile I will wear tinted lipgloss. Most of the time I wear vanilla flavored chapstick that has sunscreen in it. I also have clear lipgloss that I wear on occasion.

I like to stay natural with myself I do wear makeup once in a blue moon but not often. It doesnt supprise me taht they would put cancer causing stuff in lipstick at all, Did yall hear about Bayer Asprin having aids in some of there stock and when they found it instead of getting rid of it the sent it over seas to other countrys. What is wrong with these companys that dont care about you but about how much money they make?
