I am planning to resign on my current job. Actually i am applying for abroad. Hoping i can make it. And i am really looking forward on it next year. I will miss my job and the people that i am with. I dont want to miss a day or a thing with them. Oh...what this feeling that can stop me not to go. But i need to do this. My family needs my support. I know they will understand but how will i start and when? Especially one of my close friends is my supervisor..I know she will a little sad for it.

Dear ciades, first of all i would like to say.. think wisely what you do.. dont spoil your future of your and your love one. Before you go abroad pls make sure.. the place you go really exist and the job really available. There are many agencies which dont provide what they promise. Many have gone abroad and ended in miserable life and many have been pushed to do unhealthy jobs. If ever you have a good job currently i would suggest you try to come up with your current job. If ever you really want to go abroad.. well.. make sure that you make the right choice. God Bless You

oh that's too sad. yeah, i feel bad that families have to sacrifice togetherness because of financial reasons. pray about it and ask God for peace if that is the path that He wants you to take. and He will see you through. :-)

I wish you all of the best in your decision. It is always hard to let go of a job you like and friends you have made to do other things. But sometimes it is necessary to help with family priorities. Please be careful when going abroad. It is sometimes hard to get started and some agencies you come in contact with aren't the best to deal with, so be very selective and stay strong!

I understand how you feel about leaving your old job and your friends behind. Where are you planing to go? What kind of job are you planing to work for?

Everyone needs to do things like this while they still can. While your friends and family will miss you, at least there is the internet and you can keep in contact. Good luck in your job application!

Its sad that you have to leave your old job and friends. But sometimes in life other things have priority. Better would be find ajob abroad and after you are sure that you are getting one, then only resign.

I think for you personally it would be a great experience. Going abroad, not just for a holiday, but to live and work, is a very tough thing. But it broadens your horizon immensely, you learn more about other people and about yourself. And there is a price to pay for everything. Yes, you will miss your friends and family, but without it you wouldn't be meeting all those wonderful new people.

Sorry to hear that your leaving your job, and family to move abroad. I hate to hear when people leave there families on a excuse of needed support for family. The truth however is the anserw is not going abroad. I know many people in India,China,Thailand who have left there families to look for jobs abroad in either another part of the country or a different country. The sad thing is thou that many of them return unsuccesful and not happy. I encourage you to find a solution maybe a second part-time job but, believe from the experience i have heard going abroad is not the anserw.

Hi my dear frenz, CIADES, Better go abroad, make new life and more networking. The current or present frenz will stay forever as our frenz. And just matter-of -fact, now a day we have an internet to communicate to each other at real time. As good example, on board here one of our my frienz is FAB35. She is filipino but working at Bahrain. So I don't look any problem. You want more example? Yes me, Michael Dadona and just call me Michael. I'm not a Malaysian. But I live here in Malaysia. It does not make any problem. And better be this way, more frenz networking and language. And more point to put up new discussion on myLot.....HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!....

same thing here, im also planning to quit my job to try to work abroad, but until now i haven't got a job opportunity.. anyways i believe that they will surely understand because it is your way of helping your family financially and if it is hard for them, it is a lot more harder to you, because you're going all by yourself in a foreign country which is not an easy thing to do..
