Do you travel mostly for work or pleasure?

My dad has to travel a lot for work. He's gone all the time. Has been like that since I was a kid. I can't imagine traveling that much.

Once in a while I travel because work and I enjoy it most of the time. At least get to go to places I've never been. But mostly it's for pleasure or maybe a mixture of both. lol ;-) Traveling due to work depends on it's nature like Consultants, Medical Representatives, Marketing Representatives, Project Managers, Seaman, etc. All of these need to travel and that's how they are getting their income.

It sad to say that some people travel for work especially to those who have already their own family, but they are not to blame. They work because of more big opportunities that come their way.

I travel mostly for pleasure, and I really love travelling.Unfortunately I don't afford to travel as much as I would like, but once a year I go on holiday, preferably to great and exciting destinations. I always believed that the one thing that is reaaly worth spending money on, is travelling. If I could I would go round the world because I like experiencing new things, and seeing other cultures and civilizations.

We travel, but not great distance, for pleasure only. The most we have traveled is a 6 hour drive. I would not like to travel for work purposes. I do have to drive a lot for work, but not any distance.

We do most of our traveling for pleasure. To go see our family. My husband is in the military, so he does travel some for work. With his job, he doesn't have to as much as a lot of people, though. Next year, he will be going to Guam for a few months, and then to Texas for a few weeks as well. This year he didn't go anywhere, though. We also have a good chance of getting orders to permanently move to a different base sometime next year. There were a lot of guys at our base that have the same job as him that made rank (my husband included), and they don't need that many staff sergeants here, so some will be going elsewhere. We will just have to wait and see if we are one of the families that moves on, or if we stay here in North Dakota.

i also get to travel because of work. and back when i was a student, because of my course. ^__^ back in college, i was able to go to popular places as a side trip to our educational field trips. and during my first work, we get to travel as community organizers and we had to go to places of our concerns. and then, my present work also concerns going to places in order to gather information or just extend technical assistance. ^__^

I am the same as your Dad. I travel a lot but all of them are work-related.

For now its mostly for pleasure. Just to get away. Just to drive out and see some sights for a bit. Its really just for me. I can imagine that changing though.

The most time I travel for the pleasure, but When I would have a chance to travel for my work, I would really like it.I just love travel and see other countries, knowing new people, taste new food, learn history and see, what kind of lifestyle people are living.

I only travel for pleasure. None of the jobs I've worked have been ones that you need to travel for. I've worked retail and home care provider.

To be frank, most of us want to travel for pleasure. We can go somewher with our family and take photos together. And wo also go somewhere special on special days .But we are not adult we know little about the adult word,They travel for work just because they have a sense of responsibility for his family and work.In all no matter travel for work or pleasure, you can visit many citys and places, you can see different people ,you harvest a lot.
