I'm not a fan of clowns. It's not a full fledged fear or anything, but, I will do anything to avoid them. I think they're creepy. Is this just me?

Oh I do not like clowns at all! They creep me out! It's probably due to me watching Poltergeist when I was a little girl. I was around the same age as the little girl (Carol Ann) when I watched it and the clown on there was so scary that I think it helped me not like clowns. :P LOL

For me, I think it's the whole disguise thing. I don't like the costumed characters that run around theme parks either. They always seem to swarm to me too. EEEKK.

Don't worry my friend you are not alone, I hate them, they give me the creeps, in fact I don't think clowns are funny, far from it, they are NOT at all funny and border on the sinister. I always remember IT by Stephen King with Pennywise the clown! Ewww enough to give you nightmares for the rest of your natural

A lot of people dislike clowns, and I know some of it has to do with some horror stories and movies, and possibly from meeting some unattractive or imappropriate clowns. I personally have loved them from watching Red Skelton and Carol Burnette. Most people do not think of her as a clown, but her washer woman was definitely a clown along the lines of the hobo clowns. I have been a clown. The last clown character I portrayed was named Garden Gerty, and she has the same gentle soul that the washer woman does. I learned clowning in a Christian group that taught, among other things, that the markings or "tears" on a clown's face are meant to express the idea that for the moment he (or she) will take on the sadness of the world, so that the world might have joy. Traditionally the clown or jester was kept around to tell the truth, because they could do it with humor.

I don't care for them. I saw Stephen King's It and that cured me of ever liking them. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I have no fear of clowns. I think they are adorable. My daughter and step daughter are terrified of clowns. I think it was watching Stephen King's movie "It" one too many times LOL

I don't like clowns. They don't scare me but I don't think they are funny. Some of their jokes are really boring and some of them have always the same jokes...
