People are donating, and Hey, I have a $20, or even $40, but. . .
Theres a Catch. Sadie is a Puppy, she's a Dog.
My Question is, What are people thinking about? Don't they realise that Every Human Being on the face of this Earth, in need of Any Medical Procedure whatsoever, is in there Ahead of Sadie!Sadie should be put down! Its inhumane to cause Sadie the suffering of a stressful Heart operation and a long period of inactive recovery. The world is full of cute Healthy Puppies! Lets get our heads rescrewed,( hopefully, on straight this time) and do the right thing by Sadie!

If poor little Sadie had bitten a child (regardless of whether she was in misery and the child was taunting her) I can guarantee that 95% of your responses would be to kill Sadie since the child's life is much more important than that of a dog. People will say it was "unprovoked" and "once a biter always a biter" (See any dog bite thread here for the basis of my response).
Personally, I would not want that much money spent to keep ME alive, let alone a pet, LOL. ;)

Yes, I understand what you are saying. Unfortunately, at least in America, the ones needing the "education" are not so much the dogs as the humans who come in contact with them.

Perhaps you are right, but.....there are so many people who feel that their dog is part of the family, They would not want to put their dog down unless it had killed more than one human, maybe 3 at least, before they would even consider having their family member (dog) destroyed. Sad isn't it?

lets see if its ur dog and ur money you have the right to spend ur money how u like. i personally would put the dog down as u said but once again if they choose to do it so be it , its not like the pup is in the hospital or a human life could be saved if the dog was put down, whats the big deal. complain about all the money wasted on sports figures then i'll kudo you there bare hugs.

While I can see the logic in that you are saying, it's very hard to tell that to some pet owners. Their pets are a member of the family. When emotions are high, it's really hard to explain this to people.

I am an animal lover. But I honestly have to say the pup should be put down for it's own good. It's not about the money. The pup should not be put through that. All the pain it will go through, and the operatioon may not even work. My heart goes out the owners of the pup.
