I remember this line from the movie. "I'm a winner. I'm going to win." This was uttered by Coach Boone, played by Denzel Washington. We are winners the minute we think that we are winners. It's all in the mind. If the game hasn't started yet, the pressure is on us, and we alone can relieve ourselves from that pressure by using the "winner mindset." Of course, confidence and overconfidence are two different factors. But that's not the point.

There is more to someone that what you see. You should learn to go beyond the surface of their skin. You should not judge people for what they look like.

Everyone is equal. Also some people are ignorant but by slowly showing them and educating them, they can change.

That a sport like football is a good platform to make people from all types of different backgrounds and ethnicities come together and be united for a common cause. There are many obstacles along the way but the desired result will happen if all involved are willing to overcome adversity.
