I have been a fan of Michael W. Smith for years. I know he is in his late 30's to early 40's, but he is the youngest looking 40 year old I've ever seen. And wow, his music is so inspiring and creative. I read once that he had several children and had been married to the same woman all these years. Does anyone know how many children he has? I heard on a radio show recently that one of his son's was in the music business also, like his dad. Writing songs, etc. Anyone have any personal info on this person?

I am not sure who Michael W. Smith is. If I remember correctly, he is a singer who comes on the Trinity Broadcasting Network often. I believe I have seen some of his albums offered. And which one of them sings the song, "Thank You For Giving To The Lord?" Is that him or Carmen? I just love that song.

Years ago, (Gosh I'm old LOL) I was an usher at a concert in Houston that Michael W. Smith did when he was touring with Amy Grant. I don't remember anything about him, personally except that he was awsome in concert.

Smith is a good singer and songwriter, I enjoy his work. I don't think I've seen a recent photograph of him, though. I didn't know he had a lot of kids. He would be in good company because Stephen Curtis Chapman also has a lot of kids and is about as popular as Smith is.
