Well let me say that with all thats been happening in my life the past few weeks I wasn't on here much. I hadn't started a discussion other than updates on dad and hardly responded to many. Now today for some reason I am on a roll of a sorts. I've started maybe 6 or more discussions including this one. I missed being here starting discussions and responding to friends discussions as well. Now I plan on trying to be around more. Especially that dad seems to be doing a lot better. Thanks all for your support and understanding in all this area as well. So do you miss this place if you are gone for a few days or just visit it a few minutes a day? Hi I'm Bob and I'm a myLotaholic. HAHAHAHA!!!

Well, Grandpa Bob, we completely understand! I am so glad to see you back! You have been missed. I have not been having a good week myself. We had to put Miko down Friday and I have been mourning his loss and kind of been down. Miss him so much! They put off my surgery until they can figure out what kind of infection I have. I think I might have an ear infection. Gotta love it! I had all my ducks in a row and bam! Well, it is good to hear your dad is doing so much better and your able to be back in the groove here at mylot. I sure missed ya!

That's a sad event. Sorry to hear about Miko. The ducks here on
myLot seem to have been shot down as well. At least my ducks were.
Two discussions have been deleted of mine so far today. I am not
anywhere near a happy camper right now. Thanks for a response.

That happened to you too? I had a discussion of mine deleted as well! I was so upset about that. I can identify with your frustration. I don't even think my discussion went against any violations or guidelines. I guess it's hit or miss with this place lol. Anyhow, don't give up!

I 'disappeared' from mylot for bout 2months and after 3 days I started going thru withdrawls so yes..I miss all my friends here when I can't get to my puter to see what's been going on here. lol

I get to missing mylot too when I am away for a few days. I wonder what everyone has been up too. Maybe we should get a program going for us Mylotaholics, the 12 step program. We can elect leaders, I nominate you to be our leader. Hahahaha. Happy Postings.

That is the one thing I had hoped had changed here at myLot while I was gone. After all, isn't it a discussion board??? If so then why can't discussions about personal issues be open? I think that it is ridiculous of them to delete discussions that can help others, while letting some of these other "inane" discussions remain on the board, if you know what I mean. Unfortunately I had a discussion deleted about dads progress in the nursing home as I guess that is something to be shared via PM or emails. Grrrr! Then I am not as happy as I was when I started this as I had 2 discussions deleted yesterday. HAHAHAHA! NBut things are good.

Hmmmm? Me start some discussions? For what? So I can get more discussions deleted. I had 2 deleted yesterday after posting this one. And one of them was an update on my dad none the less. Won't be seeing many discussions from me for awhile. Sorry I did this discussion long ago and I am not the least bit happy with the admin of myLot right now.

Please hang in here Grandpa Bob, as it's wonderful to see you back. I can certainly understand why you haven't been able to be here as much though, with all you've been going through. I too, miss this place, when I'm not able to be on as much, for one reason or another. There are some very special people here ... you, of course, are one of them. I hope your 'joy here' returns soon.

I'm hooked. I don't know why but I MUST get my daily fix...I feel like i'm letting the side down if I choose to do something else.
Of course every now and then you simply must be somewhere else and that's ok ... it doesn't hurt but then you comer back on and have to work twice as hard to catch up. I f you're away an extended length of time you feel the need to apologise to all your friends for not responding which I've done and friends have done but one of my frinds apologised because she needed to be elsewhere for a while and her poost was deleted!!!! Go figure.

Glad to see you're back, Grandpa Bob! I always enjoy reading your posts. Happy to know that your Dad is better too. Now you have to look after yourself; try and put your feet up for a few minutes and have a little "Grandpa Bob time"! I know what you mean about myLot. It is so addictive it's not funny....a day without myLot is like a day without sunshine. Wait a second...wasn't that supposed to be "a day without Mozart...blah-blah?" Oh, well.
