I am returned from Vacation

Hi Everyone
I have returned from my seven day holiday. We went to Victor Harbor, a small tourist town on the coast. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. A lot of the time we just hang around reading & drinking wine.
We visited the wildlife park, which specializes in Australian native animals. We also went fishing. This was not sucessful. The seals were hanging around & scaring the fish. There were three seals right up next to the jetty & bluff. They were fascinating to watch, especially when playing.
My hubby & my daughter also hired bikes to cycle along the esplanade.
We do have photos, but they haven't been downloaded yet.
I know I have missed many many of your discussions. I will do a bit of a search this weekend to see if I can catch up on any of them. If not, I will just have to wait until you start aew one.

Well Jenny be sure to relax as well. You just got back, you should rest up. You shouldn't have to deal with us uncouth mylotters after getting back from doing so many cool things XD =). Glad you had such a good time!

Hi Jennybianca, and am glad you had such a nice week while on holiday with your husband and daughter :) And am waiting to see some photos of the moments you spent there ;) Glad to have you back for the great answers you give on discussions and no problem if you cannot reply to the once of the past week, you'll do just fine with all the new once to come ;)

Glad to see you back. Things have been hectic since you've been on vacation here. I am sure by now you may have figured this out. Glad you had a great time as well. What is the esplanade anyhow? HAHAHA!!

Just the deletions of topics that should not have been deleted. I had an updatre on dads health deleted. Many others around here were deleted and they did not appear to violate any guidelines. That's all really.

No, I didn't know things been hectic on My Lot. Althoufgh I did figure out that there had been a lot of deletions. Tell me what has been going on, as I am very interested.

I can't imagine fishing around seals! That sounds so amazing. I mean fishing around crocodiles is done here, but I don't think we have the pleasure of sharing fishing space with seals. I'm glad you guys got to get away and relax a bit. It sounds like a dream vacation.

The seals come when people are fishing, as they like to eat whiting. This then scares the whiting, & they disappear. The seals then just play.

Sounds like a wonderful holiday! I'd love to see seals up close. When my family and I used to go camping at Stradbroke Island we'd always see dolphins come really close to the jetty. I think I need a holiday now!

Welcome back! Glad that you had a relaxing time. Hubby keeps telling me that we need to go away for a week. These day trips just aren't cutting it.

Welcome back and glad to hear your vacation was relaxing. Sorry you weren't successful at catching fish. I would have enjoyed watching the seals, as they sure know how to have fun playing. I'm looking forward to your photographs.

Relaxing and taking break from the routine regurgitates our mind afresh and helps us to do the work with more vigour when we resume the same.

Welcome back jenny,
this is really what everybody needs from time to time , and the best thing is to get relaxed in the wild where the air is free from pollution and it's so fresh , there is no noise or roars ,just go now to rest and when you settle down upload your trip's pics :) I like the wild ...

hi there lady! I missed you on mycashguide. I haven't had time to hang out there as much. I'm trying to visit mylot more often since alot of my friends have started topics that i really want to respond too. I'm glad you had a good time on vacation. We are actually leaving next week for a few days over Thanksgiving. I'll probably be MIA during that time as well.
