Do you think that kids should ahve tv's in their rooms? What about cable and video games? When I was a kid, we played outside until it got dark, we used our imagination. On rainy days, we played inside but very rarely did we watch tv. My step son wants video games in his room but he has them at home. He is 7 and can barely read because he comes home from school and sits in front of the tv and watches tv instead of using his imagination.

I think in todays day and age every kid should have there own tv if you can afford it. My daughter can't even talk and as her own tv in her room.

No, I don't think any child should have a tv in their room. To many children sit to long at the tv and don't go outside or use their imagination. So much creativity is lost to mindless junk like that. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying all tv is bad, I let my daughter watch her disney chanel and some nick but I prefer only the programs that will teach her something. And limiting the amount of tv she watches. Most of the time she plays in her room and uses that creative little mind of hers.

My kids do have TV's in their rooms but they are programmed to kid friendly channels and they can only watch it with permission
