Hi Terry, and congratz on your new water filter :) But would you enlighten me why would people suggest to wash your dishes with vinegar? And was it before or after the filter was placed?

Vinegar is natures antibiotic. I use it a lot to help clean really dirty pots and if I burn something on the bottom of my pot I put vinegar in it and boil it, that makes it easy to clean the burned food off.

Nice to hear you solved the problem with the water smelt.I hope the vinegar helped also. It's good specially when except the smelt of the water your dishes are from fish or smelt of egg.I love eating eggs but I hate the smelt at the dish.also vinegar make all the class shine.

I am glad to hear that you got a water filter in your kitchen. I dont drink tap water the only kind I drink if out of a bottle from the store. I dont care much for well water, I remember when I was a kid and at my grandmothers house, she lived in OHIO, but she had water that smelled like rotton eggs and it stunk so bad. congrats on the filter.

Good for you! I really hate hard water and I have been when they had well water, and found unless you use a filter or buy filtered water (very expensive) the water is not that good. I cannot understand how people are able to drink it straight.
