Do you save the little condiment packets you get in restaurants and fast food places? Do you only keep a few or do you have hoards of them? I have one of those big ice cream buckets in the fridge with various ones in them. I also keep the little tubs of sauces for when I have chicken nuggets. I could probably buy the stuff but I like the convenient little packets for when I'm in a hurry. My Mom has hoards of them. She will get extra ones everytime she goes out. !!HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I only keep the packets of stuff I usually don't have at the house....Arby's sauce, malt vinegar (for fish). The rest I dump. I will keep some of the napkins and an extra straw and cutlery set. Then, when they get used, I just keep another one. We got some great dipping sauces at the restaurant this weekend. I DID keep those to dip fresh veggies in as a snack. If you do alot of picnics, it makes sense to keep alot of them. Since we just grill on the beach and the meat has BBQ sauce anyway, I don't.

The only kind I save is those little individually wrapped jam packets... And it's not so much saving as stealing like six whenever I go out for breakfast. Individually wrapped jam is my favourite kind of jame. I really love it. The closest thing to it that you can buy is Smuckers, which is delicious, but there's nothing quite like individually wrapped jam. Mmmmm... I might go make some toast.

No, I don't. I have so much crap lying around my house already, I don't want to save that stuff too. We do however have a bucket of the stuff at work, and that's really handy for when people bring in their lunches.

I have a love hate relationship with those darn little packets. I hate it when you go through a drive through and you are about a mile away when surprise no salt, no ketchup, no napkins! When I get extras I throw them in the glove box and am so happy when I can pull them out and save the meal. On the other hand they tend to get old and sometimes I slam the glove box on them and make a mess. Then the glove box gets so full of crap I can't even find my car insurance in the mess!

I don't save them. Actually, they are far from a green product and I'd much rather just utilize condiments from recyclable bottles. When I moved into this apartment, the previous tennant definitely hoarded them. I found packets everywhere.

It seems that places either do not give you any little packets, or they give you too many. I do not have an icecream bucket full, but I do have quite a few. Some places, once they have put them on the table, must throw them away, so if they bring them, I keep them. They are handy to have when I am packing a lunch. Those sauces are really tasty.

Seems like we can't please all the children, and since we have a tendency to make chicken fingers alot in our house we keep a whole drawer full of all the sauces so that we can please everybody all the time with the variety that is offered in most fast foods.

I do not take them home. I used to, but then I discovered that by doing so, the food servers may not get a raise, and that it might mean the restaurant or fast food service might have to buy more and that would be reflected on the cost of the meal. Besides I really hate opening them and getting all the soya sauce all over me.

Between the various condiment packets and the napkins, I haven't bought any in over a year. Not my fault when McDonalds and Burger King overload me with it all. lol Ask for 2 ketchups and they give me a huge handful. Subway, however, is skimpy with their napkins. Unless you ask, they only give ya one which is seldom enough if the sandwich is messy.

I do save what I dont use then. They are ideal for picniks and trips so I dont have to take a whole bottle with me.

Yes, I do save them. They always come in handy. I save the ketchups, soy sauces, honey, bbq sauce, mayonnaise, and some other things.

My partner and I frequently go on camping trips and these little sachets are great to take with us as they are light and easy to pack away. I have quite a stash of them now, but I also collect up the sachets of sugar, coffee and coffee whitener too, so much easier than messing around with tins or jars in a tent :-)

I saved them in college, when every penny counted. I might still save them today. Excepting that I don't eat fast food anymore. SO I have no packets to save!

Yes I love them!! My husband thinks I am crazy, but once he realized I wasn't giving them up he got me some cute little plastic stackable drawers to put everything in. So they are all organized now =) I like to get extras because I usually forget to ask for them when we go through the drive-thru so it is good to have them on hand.

I usually don't, but my husband does. We have a drawer full of them in the kitchen. They have come in handy a few times when we were out of ketchup and forgot to buy any. We go throguh the ketchup in this house!

I try not to get too many extra when I'm out but if I do have extra in my to-go bag then I do save them. My husband and daughter take them along in lunches they pack for work. I generally don't bother with extras I have at my table when I eat in a fast food restaurant but I don't think bringing them home would make a difference because most of the time I've seen the people cleaning the tables just throw them away. I feel that taking extra just so that you have extras to store at home is more like stealing though.
