Brief Sunshine Today!

Wooo Hoooo! We just had a fleeting moment of sunhine that lasted maybe 1 minute total. I heard Buster my beagle rustling about in the dining room. So I went to see what the commotion was & saw him on the back door mat resting in the brief warm sunshine coming in through the door and window out back. It's been rainy and or gloomy here in Minnesota for nearly a week. It's rained on and off for the past 3 days and is going to conmtinue to be this way for a few more days. I am almost getting cabin fever from staying inside due to the gloomy days with the rain and all. Buster saw this ray of sun and layed down for just a minute then the sun disappeared as soon as it showed up. Oh well. Maybe I will see the sun shining again very soon. HAHA! Yeah right. Wishful thinking huh?

Well it's 9:37 a.m. here and guess what? Yup it's pouring once again. All the shades and drapes are opened and I still need lamps on it is soooo gloomy here. Ugghhh! I am sick of this. Give me the snow and cold now please Mother nature? HAHAHA!!

It's funny how dopgs & cats love certain positions in the sun. One of our cats sits in the front door mat too, when it is sunny. We can't see her through the door, so we keep knocking into her when it is openbed. She also loves to sleep on car bonnets in the sun.
Our dogs lie around under the pergola in a sunny spot.
We are starting to get a lot more sunny days now. No rain though.

The lack of sunshine is what I dislike most about the colder months. Gloomy weather brings on depression. I hope that we have enough sun to lift the moods.

Me too. I hate daylight savings time the most.
Dark around 4:30 pm until 9 am. Ugghhh!

The sun has been out all day. Its been a little windy, but today its calm thank goodness. Yesterday many people lost their lives because of the weather in California. It was suppose to rain, so am glad our weather is normal again.

that is the bad thing about the wheather changes, i like the fall but i know what comes after that dreaded winter.... although here in pa it has been in the low 70s upper 60's.. how odd is that??? but i love it... but i think we are to get this rain that is comming yuk... better get my winter proofing done in the morning....hope you have more sunny days to come...

Dreaded winter? I am looking forward to the snow somewhat.
We are finally getting normal temps for this time of year.

3 boys? I am a grandfather again? HAHAHAHA!
I've done this but with up to 5 kids at one time. Ugghh!

Is it still rainy or gloomy? I can't stand it when it's like that for long periods of time...It's one thing when it's raining,..but just to be overcast? Blaugh...hate it...my whole system seems to slow down and I just want to crawl back into bed....But I do make a point of going out everyday...I just can't STAND to be indoors all day..it could be a blizzard and you'll find this nutcase out..LOL
Today it was a torrential rainstorm here..but yup, did go out--I hope to see the sun soon too. :(

Be glad you don't live in Seattle...They get what they call "Sun breaks"..I have a coffee mug that says, "people in Seattle don't tan, they rust"...I hope your sun shines again soon...

Oh I know about Washington weather. I was stationed in Tacomah in
the 70's when I was in the Air Force. hated all the rain in that
state also. Also when it would snow a quarter inch the drivers freaked. HAHAHA!

I like sun also~In Beijing we cannot usualy see the rain,it is very dry,even in the summer the rain is very little.And now our girl's skin is becoming dry,it's very afflictive.To my joy,I can see the sun everyday nearly,maybe some day you can come to China,to Beijing to share the sunshine with us.
