i admit since im so into internet and emailing, i cant remember when was the last time i send a snail mail to friends i already lost contact. Its funny huh? It sound crazy, i still have their home address, but writing an letter to them and sending it to mail makes me feel lazy. the need of communication and bridging the gap again fades away just the though of writing a long news about what happened to me for the past years without contact.. I am so bad!!! emails nowadays is convenient..lets admit it..with few clicks on the key and its send out..plus the intant messenger adding the fad..i got this article from someone, but you tend to ask old freind you meet along the road if they have an email address so you guys can communicate..what if they dont, its like, hey you need to get one already... right now, im composing a letter to a friend and im printing this, i promise ill send this letter soon..i dreamt about her last night and i just want to know if shes ok..thanks to that dream and it pushed me to write this letter huh? what about you, are you still into snail mail or would rather stick to email where everything is fast and convenient?

nowadays i usually use emails instead of snail mail. more often that not, we use IMs to communicate with each other. i only send cards to my close friends, during birthdays or festive seasons. :)

i know it is better . now there are less people to use snail mail. but i don't think it will die out. we can get happiness if you recive a mail from your friends. when you see his letters. when you wacth the mails. you are more exacit. and you can read it again when you remaember it. you can keep it for a long time.

I do still use snail mail mostly because I have many pen pals and not all of them have the internet. But if I can write them on the net I try to because then it will save me some money because an international stamp for me is $1 and I have over 200 pen pals.

If I am just sending a quick hello message or if I have to ask someone a quick question, I will send an email. With that in mind, I will send snail mail greeting cards and other important stuff. Online greeting cards are nice, but they are a little too impersonal if you ask me. I always like receiving an occassion something in mail, so I do the same for others too, esepcially my close friends and family.

Hello daryljane, I can't remember when was the last time I wrote a snail mail. Since I have my first e-mail address which was more than five years ago, I don't write snail mails anymore. Like you, I just feel lazy to write. In fact, most of the time : be it in the office or at home, I seldom write but keep typing the words on my computer keyboard *smiles* I guess with the modern technology and super fast way of life, it is just wasting time to do something in a long way when you can have a short cut *smiles*

i know that there are still many people to use snail mail but drawback of it is misplacing if not get by right person. i want to keep it with my letter diary. of course email are very faster media than it. but you cannot send gifts to all.,Email are convenient way for sending greetings for near and dear ones.but what if the person are not acquainted with email or no idea to use it or what if he/she is illiterate

I prefer to use email because it is easier and faster. But I sometimes use snail mails to some of my friends who don't have or don't have access to a computer or internet.

Hi, I almost never send snail mail. I always opt for email communication since it is so fast and convenient. In fact I talk less on the telephone since the advent of email. How did we ever manage before the internet? lol Email is a wonderful means of communication. :)

I remember my first time to do snail mail as a kid. I would send letters to my aunt in the province. Now I do email since it's more convenient. Plus the fact that mobile phones are everywhere, I don't think I'd have time to bother for snail mail anymore. I would just like to share a funny thing with snail mail. My sister's friend once used to send to their another friend one snail mail containing cartoon characters which she drew. haha! Maybe I'd do that someday too.=)

Email is just faster and easier. Snail mail still has its uses but for general communications I find email quite a better option. Having a variety of communication options is such a good thing.

Hello:) I´m the one who is still writing snailmail and love to do it;) It´s a longlasting hobby for me and with letters I´ve made many great friends around the world past this years:)Even though emailing is soooo easy way to keep in touch to your friends and I´m doing it too;).I think sending a letter is in a someway more personal way to say hi,or what do you think?

thats what my keep telling me..snail is more personalize..especially if your really writing it and not type in your letter and have it printed..i keep telling her to practice emailing her friends who's now in the US, but she still manage to wirte them through snail mails..some things our olf folks are not accustomed to.
